Officiant
Nicolle is honored to have her brother-in-law serve as the officiant on such a special day. She has known him since she was in 7th grade, and over the years he became the older brother Nicolle never had. Together, they’ve shared many funny memories and more than a few moments of getting her out of trouble, far too many to count. From the beginning, he has been welcoming to Alex and has grown into a close friend as well. During the Covid years, Daffne, Corey, and Nicolle all lived together, and Alex became a frequent visitor who eventually felt like a fourth roommate! Over time, they have all become incredibly close, and their bond has only grown stronger through the years. There is truly no one they would rather have standing with them and officiating their marriage on this meaningful day.
Comfort and Cuddle Coordinator
Philip was adopted when Alex and Nicolle first moved in together and has become part of their new chapter. Although Phillip may not be walking down the aisle with them, he's been their purrr-sonal supporter helping them plan. His spot in the wedding pawwty is deserved! 😽🐾
Maid of Honor
Nicolle's older sister has been her role model, biggest supporter, and built-in best friend for as long as she can remember. Growing up, the two spent years doing martial arts together and were each others's partners through every black belt test- which basically meant spending a lot of time beating each other up. Right after, she would still be the one doing Nicolle's hair and makeup for high school dances and cheer games, always making her feel special. And although she won't be doing Nicolle's hair or makeup for the wedding, having her as Maid of Honor is such a full- circle moment.
Best Man
Toby and Alex grew up down the street from each other. They’ve known each other since they were in diapers and have been best friends ever since. Toby has lived in Oregon since college, but they still make a point to see each other whenever they can. Apparently Alex is a sucker for long-distance relationships.
Bridesmaid
Since 2012, Jessica and Nicolle have shared a friendship built on unforgettable nights of laughter that lasted until sunrise and memories that only two girls could truly understand. Through it all, they somehow made it out stronger closer to sisters. And although they are 453 miles apart, their friendship remains the same. She is someone Nicolle admires deeply, a constant source of love, strength, and support. Nicolle feels incredibly grateful to have her by her side, not just in life, but especially on her wedding day, where she stands as a reminder of a friendship that has truly stood the test of time.
Groomsman
Adam and Alex met in middle school and have been friends ever since. Both went to school in Arizona, then lived in LA, and now live in Newport Beach. Adam and Alex hang out just about every weekend. Going to the beach, hiking, hitting bars, and skiing every chance they get. Codependency at its finest.
Bridesmaid
Michelle is one of the kindest, most genuine people Nicolle knows and has been one of her closest friends for many years. When they both lived in San Jose, they had weekly dinner dates catching up for hours as if they hadn't seen each other in months. Those evenings were often spent bouncing between Los Gatos, Campbell, and Willow Glen, filled with laughter, and long conversations. Even with distance between them now, Michelle remains one of her greatest and closest friend of all time.
Groomsman
John and Alex have known each other since elementary school, lived across the street from each other in college, and later roomed together in Campbell. Both share a passion for Lord of the Rings and having a few good beers. Whether it’s Arizona, Campbell, or Southern California, they always stay close and have a great time together.
Bridesmaid
Amy is an amazing friend who holds a very special place in Nicolle’s life. She was thrilled when Amy and her husband, Adam, moved from Santa Monica to Newport Beach and becoming close neighbors. Their friendship has grown even stronger through countless conversations, shared laughs, and a mutual obsession with true crime shows and podcasts. Amy is thoughtful, fun, and always someone Nicolle can count on, and she feels incredibly lucky to have her standing by her side on such an important day.
Groomsman
Jordan and Alex met in high school and quickly became friends through their shared love of snowboarding and finding random things to do on weekends, like cliff jumping and dodgeball. Although there’s slightly less cliff jumping nowadays, they still make a point to see each other whenever one of them is in town.
Bridesmaid
Nicolle is honored to have her friend Jenna by her side on such a special day. When Nicolle moved from the Bay Area to Orange County, she and Jenna quickly became friends and neighbors, and what started as a new connection soon grew into a genuine friendship. Jenna already shared a history with Alex from their high school days, which made her presence even more special as their lives came full circle in this celebration. Jenna is an incredibly kind, sweet, and supportive person who brings warmth and positivity to everyone around her. Nicolle feels so lucky to have met her when she did and is grateful and happy to have her standing by her side.
Groomsman
Dc and Alex have been friends since middle school. Both quote way too many comedy movies and enjoy a good drinking game now and then. There’s slightly less partying and slightly more dinners and breweries these days, but it’s always a great time whenever they get together.
Bridesmaid
Kjirsten first came into Nicolle’s life when both of their Alexs were living together in Los Angeles. Since Nicolle was often in town visiting, the two quickly became friends and, before long, pandemic buddies navigating an unforgettable chapter together. As a talented surgeon, Kjirsten dedicates her life to caring for others, but what Nicolle admires most is her incredible heart. She is a walking ray of sunshine whose positivity, kindness, and contagious energy brighten every room she enters. Whether sharing laughs, making memories, or simply spending time together, Kjirsten is always a joy to be around, and Nicolle feels incredibly lucky to call her a friend.
Groomsman
Friends since middle school, Gordy and Alex bonded over baseball and Adam Sandler movies. They may both be washed up when it comes to baseball, but they still captain the annual sloshball game — one of their oldest traditions. One of these years, Alex will actually win.
Bridesmaid
Michelle is Nicolle’s older sister, and though distance keeps them in different countries- Michelle living in Peru, their bond has never felt far apart. Life hasn’t always allowed them to see each other as often as they’d like, but time and miles have only strengthened the love and connection they share as sisters. Nicolle is so grateful that Michelle will be by her side on her biggest day.
Groomsman
Alex M stole this friendship from his sister, Callie. They became close friends after Alex M crashed their med school trip to Thailand. Both Alexes moved to LA at the same time and decided to become roommates. They’ve since moved to different parts of the state but have remained close friends.
Bridesmaid
Callie is Alex’s older sister, but she and Nicolle quickly became friends. Although they live on opposite sides of the country, they always have a great time catching up during Medin family holidays and gatherings. Callie is fun, welcoming, and has made Nicolle feel like part of the family from day one. She’s an important part of Alex’s life, and Nicolle is so excited to now call her a sister, too.
Groomsman
Jason and Alex met in kindergarten and have been friends ever since. Alex has moved around a bit while Jason has stayed in LA, but they’ve remained close the entire time. Even with Jason’s busy schedule balancing residency and planning his own wedding, the two still hang out whenever they can and always pick up right where they left off.
Bridesmaid
Mikayla is Alex’s younger sister, and Nicolle always looks forward to seeing her during visits with Alex’s family in Colorado. Mikayla works in the music industry and is always going to awesome concerts (or helping put them on), but Nicolle loves spending time with her when she gets the chance. Although Nicolle already has two sisters, she’s so excited to welcome Mikayla into her family and officially call her a sister, too!
Groomsman
Alex and Ale met through Ale's wife, Jenna. They both live in Newport Beach, both enjoy grabbing a beer, the beach, and pretending that Alex is getting better at surfing. Since Ale moved to town, Ale and Alex have started hanging out more and more, and he's quickly become one of Alex's close friends.
Flower Girl
Octavia Betz is the tiniest member of the wedding party, daughter of Kjirsten and Alex Betz. Though she’s not even one year old yet, she’s already bringing plenty of charm to the aisle. Whether she masterfully sprinkles petals or simply watches the celebration unfold, she’ll be doing it all as the cutest little princess in the room.
Ring Bearer
Oliver Hart is the beloved ring bearer and the sweet nephew of the bride, son of Daffne and Corey Hart. With his gentle smile and kind little heart, he brings just the right touch of joy to the ceremony. His very important job is to carry the wedding rings with care—though whether they make it down the aisle smoothly or not, he’ll still steal every heart in the room as the sweetest little boy in the celebration.
Mother of the Bride
Nicolle is honored to have her mother by her side on such a special day. Throughout her life, her mom has been a constant source of love, support, and encouragement. The two share a special bond, whether they are spending the day shopping, decorating, or simply enjoying each other’s company. They also share a love for animals and absolutely adore her mother’s dogs, Freddie and Pippa, who are treasured members of the family.
Mother of the Groom
The woman of many nicknames, but most commonly known to Alex and his friends as “Coach.” She took the role seriously, driving a light blue minivan with the legendary license plate “MOMZROK” to glamorous 12U baseball tournament destinations like Henderson, NV and Modesto. Over the years, Alex has slowly come to realize that his mom might actually be the coolest one in the family. A hard pill to swallow, but unfortunately, it’s true. She’s the best. Love you, Coach!
Father of the Bride
Nicolle is honored to have her dad by her side on such a special day. Though he is her stepdad, he has been her father since she was six and has helped her adjust to a completely new life in a new country with patience and love. It was a little difficult at times without speaking the same language, but he taught her how to ride a bike, roller skate, and drive-through plenty of bumps along the way. He was also very supportive, even when it came to feeding the neighborhood squirrels and raccoons (just not adopting any into the house).
Father of the Groom
Alex met David at birth. Ever since, David has been there to teach him everything from hockey to math. No matter what situation Alex manages to get himself into, David has always been supportive and by his side every step of the way. Even though they now live in different states, they still share a love for skiing & snowboarding, and of course, really dumb jokes. Love you, Dad!
