We met in the Bay Area in 2018- what started as drinks turned into dinner, and that one dinner turned into a lifetime. We just didn’t know it yet. During our short 4.5 years of long distance, we racked up tons of miles on our cars and credit cards. Facetime dates became our new normal and so did planning the next time we would see each other. Between all the flights, a global pandemic, and way too many goodbyes, we only grew closer (and got very good at packing carry-ons). Eventually, Alex was able to convince Nicolle that SoCal is better than (or just as nice) as NorCal and she made the move down in 2024. Now we live together in Orange County with a much better commute and one very opinionated cat, Philip, who runs the household.
