Split is by far the easiest airport to fly into.

Zadar is also an alternative, however it's a 1.5 hr drive to Split and Croatia doesn't have inter-city trains, only buses or rental cars.

Shuttle

Once we have an idea of where our guests will be staying, we can look into organizing a shuttle service to and from the venue. We hope that guests will then be able to have a carefree time during the party!

Taxi information

There will be at least one taxi available on the premises as of 11 pm for guests wanting to travel back to their accommodation (fitting up to 4 people). If the taxi is in use, you can call the same taxi company to see if their 4-person car or 8-person van is available. The number is: +385 98 930 8055.

If you want to explore Croatia, we highly recommend renting a car! There are unfortunately no trains connecting Croatian cities and tourist destinations, so unless you rent a car, coastal and inland travel are only available via buses, private shuttles or taxis.

Travel Note

Hotels near the venue and Sinj

Sinj is the nearest small town to the venue, which has one hotel and other accommodation options like apartments/villas to rent. While there is the benefit of being 10-20 minutes away by taxi from the venue, the options are much more limited than what you can find in Split (40-50 minutes away). We would recommend this option for those popping in and out of Croatia for the wedding and just need a place to sleep nearby. See below for some options.

This is the closest hotel to the venue (10 minutes by taxi). Currently, a tourist group has made a deposit on a large number of rooms, but we're in touch with the hotel staff and they'll let us know if the booking changes in March. Keep an eye out on our home page announcements to see if rooms become available!

There are several AirBnBs to rent in Sinj which may be perfect for families or groups of people who want to stay near the venue.

A villa recommended in the area by the owners of our venue. Minimum of 5 night stay and 300 EUR per night. The villa can sleep up to 10 people in 5 bedrooms.

A villa recommended in the area by the owners of our venue. 600 EUR per night for a minimum 2-night stay, sleeps 8 people (4 beds). We've noticed that they may not respond over instagram, so you can contact them via e-mail instead: anamarijaporobija4@gmail.com.

Hotels in Split

There are many hotels concentrated in Split, which is a 40-50 minute drive from the venue. Split is a historical city right by the sea with access to many restaurants, bars, beaches and boat tours around the islands off the coast of Croatia. When booking a longer holiday, this is a very convenient location to base your travels around. As mentioned, we're looking into organizing shuttle bus services to and from the venue, including Split, so don't hesitate to let us know if you'd like to make Split your preferred place to stay.
