Old Idaho Penitentiary Site
The Old Idaho Penitentiary State Historic Site was a functional prison from 1872 to 1973 and now does day and night tours. It's a super cool site to visit/tour!
Downtown
Downtown Boise has some of our favorite restaurants like Diablo & Sons, Fork, Tupelo Honey, and Barbacoa Grill. They also have a bunch of different bars which includes this cool hidden/speakeasy style bar called Thick as Thieves.
Boise River Greenbelt
The Greenbelt is a tree-lined pathway that follows the north and south sides of the Boise River through the heart of the city and provides some scenic views of the river and the foothills. The greenbelt can walk you right up to one of our favorite breweries, Payette Brewing.
Table Rock
Table Rock is one of the hikes located right outside of downtown in the Boise foothills. Provides some nice views all the way up!
Lucky Peak Lake
Luck Peak is one of our favorite spots that is just 10miles outside of Boise downtown area. We actually got engaged at this location! The ride up there is very scenic and the views at the Peak are pretty especially with sunset!
