FAQs

Question

When should I arrive into Napa?

Answer

Truly, the choice is up to you!!! Our wedding events officially begin on Friday, but we recommend arriving by Thursday if you'd like to settle in, enjoy a wine tasting (or two), and take in the fall colors. If you're traveling from out of town, arriving a day or two early will give you time to relax, acclimate, and make the most of your Napa weekend.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

Many guests are choosing to stay on-site at the Wedding Location at Carneros Resort and Spa (Hilton Property) but there are many nearby hotels such as The Westin Verasa Napa. If you are interested in staying at the Westin Verasa Napa Hotel, we are offering a discounted rate for the Deluxe King room at $430 (all charges included) per night. Contact Gil Phillip (Nicole's Dad) for more information by call or text 630-605-7487. Your stay can be for a minimum of 2 nights or longer for the discounted rate to apply. For those interested, Deluxe King Room Rate Available at $430 per night (all charges included). When interested, contact Gil by July 15th.

Question

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Yes, shuttle service will be provided from Carneros hotel entrance to the wedding venue on the top of the hilltop starting at 3:20pm. Specifics will be shared closer to the date. That said, you will need to organize transportation to Carneros Property on the wedding day.

Question

Which airport should I fly into?

Answer

San Francisco International (SFO) and Oakland International (OAK) are the most common options, both about 90 minutes from Napa. Sacramento (SMF) is another good alternative.

Question

How do I get from the airport to Napa?

Answer

Guests typically rent a car or take an Uber/Lyft which are reasonable and plentiful. We’ve also outlined shuttle options and pricing in the Travel section. Renting a car is also an option in the event you choose to make this destination a bigger adventure!

Question

What’s the weather like in Napa in November?

Answer

Expect mild days (60s–70s) and cooler evenings (40s–50s). Layers are always a good idea, especially for outdoor events. Then again, November can be surprisingly warm & ensure to bring a swimsuit for the pools!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Arrive at 3:30pm to account for the shuttles bringing guests to the ceremony spot. We recommend arriving 10 minutes early to allow time for parking in the event you choose to drive.

Question

Is there parking available at the venue?

Answer

Yes, complimentary parking is available at Carneros Resort and Spa for those who choose to drive but uber is openly available.
