Matron of Honor
Katlyn and I began our friendship in 2007 when our dads introduced us during a trip to St. Maarten. Despite never attending the same school, we have been through every stage of life together. Katlyn and I love shopping together, having lunch at PF Chang's, and texting for endless hours almost every week! A friendship like ours, built over nearly 20 years and highlighted by being each other's maid of honor, is truly rare and special!
Bridesmaid
Deb and I met in kindergarten and were so inseparable that our teachers constantly mixed us up. We capped off high school with the ultimate flex of graduating as Valedictorian and Salutatorian together. Although Deb is now in NC and I am in NJ, we reunite every Christmas to visit our favorite restaurants in Massapequa and bake. Our favorite recipe over the years has been blueberry scones with globs of icing!
Bridesmaid
Melissa and I were on the Massapequa Rifle Team together! We always send each other postcards, building an extensive collection over the years. Last summer, we went to Clearwater, FL and had an unforgettable time watching dolphins, collecting shells, and finding the best key lime pie! Melissa is an artist who drew a beautiful picture of orchids (my favorite flower) and created a stunning piece with Chase and Luke (both are on display at home)!
Bridesmaid
Jordan was my first friend at Cooper! For the past three years, we've been study buddies, spending countless ungodly hours at school and having numerous sleepovers at my second NJ home (aka the Konrads' beautiful lake house). We initially bonded over similar hobbies, mountain houses, and dogs. Now, we constantly send each other wedding ideas (aka daily) since Jordan's wedding is just two weeks after mine!
Bridesmaid
Mirna and I are medical school roommates and, ironically, we are the only two people from Long Island in our class. We share a mutual love for crafting (we have taken candle-making, pottery, and glass-blowing classes together), and our dogs had the best pool playdate, one we'll both cherish forever. Mirna is my go-to pop culture expert, since I am very out of the loop with basically any modern trend!
Bridesmaid
Sarah has developed a passion for helping others through nursing and recently started a full-time position at Cooper! She graduated from Villanova University and loves watching/talking about their basketball team! She has been an inspiration for me as I have watched her overcome all her struggles in life with motivation, laughter, and a little help recently from Holden, too (hi Holden). If you're feeling kind, feel free to say hi and maybe bring her Starbucks!
Best Man
Ben has been my best friend as long as I can remember, though it likely all started around the 3rd grade. Between our mutual love of soccer, video games, and a sense of humor so similar it would rival twins, we have grown to be inseparable. Ben has been there for me through thick and thin, even while he powers through PA school. Everyone needs a friend like Ben in their life!
Groomsman
The most unique person that you'll ever meet, we guarantee it. Between his love for sports and unpredictable sense of humor, it's easy to see why Jared and I are so close. Jared and I (and sometimes Nicole too) enjoy the outdoors, kayaking down the shore, and making fun of Giants fans. A diehard Nascar and Indy sports fan, be sure to ask Jared about the Colts with Andrew Luck.
Groomsman
Bryan and I met as freshman roommates, bonding over cars, ice hockey, and Top Gear! Bryan is intelligent, friendly, and funny, and he went above and beyond to help me with my studies. Without his incredible ability to teach using crystal clear explanations and hilarious mnemonic devices, I would not be where I am today. Through college, we enjoyed playing intramural hockey and soccer, traveling to see RPI hockey games, outdoor adventures, and occasionally pranking Trenton.
Groomsman
Besides our noses, Loukas and I have lots in common. We have been friends since grade school, bonding over a mutual love for sports, games, cars, and outright fun. Loukas and I have had many adventures together, from trips to the cabin (where Loukas hospitalized himself) to casino trips in Connecticut (Loukas also got hurt). Loukas is a lawyer, and I believe he should consider injury law, as he most certainly has experience in the field :)
Groomsman
Rutvik and I have been friends since high school. The two of us have great stories together, between several trips to the cabin and a few to the Poconos or the shore. Rutvik and I share a passion for some good conversation about sports and playing golf with the guys. If you ever need a good recommendation for a seltzer or cider to try, Rutvik is the guy. As manager of Chesterfield Liquors, he is the leading supplier of the friend group's shenanigans.
Groomsman
Michael and I love going out to eat together, as we share a passion for good food (sometimes hard to find outside of NY though tbh). Sean and Michael enjoy a good conversation about technology and the growing field of AI, an area which he is studying at Georgia Tech. Michael enjoys playing video games (in which he typically beats both Sean and me) and is beginning to dip his toes into photography of cityscapes!
Mother of the Bride
My mom is the most loyal person I know; she lives and breathes for her family, and we feel the love in everything she does. She has a passion for planting flowers, anything pretty/beautiful, and watching live concerts at the beach and park. She is someone who cherishes every moment, no matter how small. I’m endlessly grateful for her unwavering support and generosity; they mean the world to me!
Father of the Bride
My love for the outdoors and persistence in school come from my dad. Dad and I have shared a special bond over the years, filled with memories of baking, fishing, boating, and camping. One of the most unforgettable moments was the time we spent over an hour reeling in a fighting shark on a fishing trip! My dad’s inspiration and belief in the value of hard work have played a huge role in shaping my path.
Mother of the Groom
Mom is as caring, outgoing, and kind as they come. Between her meticulous planning of our most memorable family vacations, to all the effort she puts into making our home feel like home, she is a mom who cares most for not herself, but others. She is loved by her family and all her students at school! My mother is certainly one who Sarah and I could never thank enough for all she has done for us.
Father of the Groom
My father has to be one of the coolest and funniest dads out there. How many people are fortunate enough to fish, mountain bike, ski the most technical slopes, or hike into the most remote wilderness with their fathers? I'm fortunate to call him my dad and am even more grateful to have shared so many of his passions, hobbies, and interests, as well as many cabin trips together.
