Lawn-friendly summer wear: effortless dresses, breezy linens, and flat footwear
Join us on Lake Ontario! We’ve reserved a lodge surrounded by forests, overlooking the easternmost Great Lake. Enjoy a chill day in the sun with lawn games, music, and plenty of space to lounge and roam! We'll serve light Israeli bites in the afternoon and a full spread in the evening, all while enjoying a beautiful sunset. Kids are welcome. In lieu of a welcome bag at your hotel, come 'shop' for items at the Welcome Shuk to sustain you throughout the weekend! The Lakefront Lodge is conveniently located less than 20 minutes from The Strathallan and about 25 minutes from the airport. Uber and Lyft are affordable transportation options. For those who are driving, there is private parking in front of the lodge and directly across the street.
4:45 pm - 11:00 pm
Garden party formal: crisp suits and long, colorful couture
The full evening's festivities will take place at The Genessee Valley Club. Nicole’s childhood Rabbi, Matt Field, will be traveling from Chicago to officiate the ceremony. Please find a seat on the back lawn at 4:45pm. Following the ceremony, we'll host a cocktail hour on the patio, followed by dinner and dancing inside the club. No kids, please. GVC is within walking distance (two blocks) from The Strathallan. Enter through the side entrance, beneath the GVC logo facing East Avenue. If you’re driving, please park in the back of the club – ushers will be there to guide you. Get ready for a lively Horah, special words from our family, and the best night you’ve ever had in Rochester, NY. :)
