Things To Do

We put together some of our favorite spots and fun things to do while you’re here. We hope you love them as much as we do! Note: we start with food (obviously), then move to activities

Pisco y Nazca Ceviche Gastrobar

1823 L Street Northwest, Washington, DC 20036

A favorite for brunch and happy hour/dinner. PS: we went here for brunch after our engagement

Le Diplomate

1601 14th Street Northwest, Washington, DC 20009

Great for brunch or dinner, Le Dip encapsulates the hustle and bustle of DC almost perfectly. Here, you are equally likely to run into your favorite or least favorite politician.

Zaytinya

701 9th Street Northwest, Washington, DC 20001

The atmosphere is lively and perfect for sharing with friends and family, just like our wedding celebration! Plus, supporting José Andrés means supporting a chef who’s not only famous for amazing food and humanitarian work, but is also a true DC local favorite.

Rasika West End

1190 New Hampshire Avenue Northwest, Washington, DC 20037

An amazing Indian restaurant (and allegedly one of former president Obama's favorites).

Tabard Inn Restaurant

1739 N Street Northwest, Washington, DC 20036

Trust us, you will love the vibe.

Elephant & Castle

1201 Pennsylvania Avenue Northwest, Washington, DC 20004

We love a spontaneous trip across the pond, but when that isn't feasible we come here. Close enough!

Jane Jane

1705 14th Street Northwest, Washington, DC 20009

A cute and popular cocktail spot!

The People’s House: A White House Experience

1700 Pennsylvania Avenue Northwest, Washington, DC 20006

Nic's favorite DC museum, this is an interactive exhibit on the White House covering everything from the history of the rooms to the staff that keep it all moving. A great way to appreciate the house for its deep history and symbolism as we approach America's 250th birthday!

East Potomac Golf Links

972 Ohio Drive Southwest, Washington, DC 20024

Old Town

Alexandria, VA

You can take the water taxi from the Wharf or Georgetown over to Old Town Alexandria, which is filled with cute shops, restaurants, and parks (and Jenni's ice cream).

Audi Field

100 Potomac Avenue Southwest, Washington, DC 20024

Schedules aren't out yet but maybe you will be able to catch a Spirit game while you are in town! Plus, Audi Field is a stones throw away from Rob's latest building (the Vermeer).
