When and Where is the Wedding?

Answer

We will be hosting our guests at Abbazia San Pietro in Valle from May 13th to May 16th. Our wedding will be held on May 14th, 2026, at the Abbey in the Umbria region of Italy. We are incredibly grateful to our family and friends who are traveling from near and far to celebrate this special day with us. Your presence means the world to us! Recibiremos a nuestros invitados en la Abbazia San Pietro in Valle del 13 al 16 de mayo. Nuestra boda se celebrará el 14 de mayo de 2026 en un convento en la región de Umbría, Italia. Can I bring a plus one to the wedding?

Answer

With our destination wedding, we have a cozy guest list and limited space, so we kindly ask that only those invited with a plus one bring a guest. You’ll know if you have a plus one when you RSVP. We truly appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you! Con nuestra boda de destino, tenemos una lista de invitados íntima y un espacio limitado, por lo que amablemente pedimos que solo aquellos invitados con acompañante traigan un invitado. What hotels are nearby?

Answer

As the venue has limited accommodation, only a small number of our family and friends will be staying on-site. For our other guests, we recommend staying at Hotel Terra del Nera, a charming boutique hotel located just 10 minutes from the abbey. It’s a lovely base for exploring the surrounding area and offers easy access to the wedding celebrations. Transportation will be arranged for all guests on the day of the wedding, and we’ll share more details closer to the date. What is the Dress Code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is "Black Tie -Formal." We invite you to dress elegantly in black tie attire while embracing the beautiful garden setting of our venue. Think formal, but with a touch of outdoor charm. We only ask you do not wear white during the wedding. El código de vestimenta para nuestra boda es "Etiqueta Negra". Are children invited?

Answer

We love children, but due to space constraints and to ensure an intimate atmosphere, we are having an adults-only celebration. We hope you can understand and enjoy a night off to celebrate with us. Answer

What is the weather like during the wedding dates?

Answer

In May, we can expect highs in the 75s and lows in the 56s. We recommend a light jacket for nighttime. En mayo, podemos esperar máximas de 24°C y mínimas de 13°C. Recomendamos una chaqueta ligera para la noche.

What is the deadline for RSVPs?

Answer

How should we confirm we are coming?

Answer

Please click on the RSVP tab on this website to RSVP and confirm your attendance. In the event you can't make it, we politely request that you tell us as soon as possible so we can make the necessary changes with our vendors. Are meals provided during the stay?

Answer

We will be providing a welcome dinner on your arrival day, daily breakfast, lunch and dinner on the night of the reception. There is a restaurant on site that will be available for additional meals. Are there any travel restrictions or guidelines?

Answer

You will need a valid passport to travel. Please ensure your passport does not expire 6 months before the travel date as you will not be allowed to board to the EU if it is. There are not COVID-19 requirements at the time and for those with a US passport - there are not current Visa requirements. However, there have been news circulating that for 2026 - US Passport holders will need to apply for ETIAS to travel to Europe. The cost is $7 and you can fill the form online. We'll keep you updated as this is not official yet and may be extended for a couple more years. The latest update is that you will not need ETIAS for this trip as it will become active in the last quarter of 2026 but please check before traveling. Necesitarás un pasaporte válido para viajar.
