FAQs

Question

What about COVID?

Answer

This will remain an ongoing update as mandates change so frequently. As it stands now, the venue is open and our wedding is planned as scheduled. Masks will be required. Please continue to check on the site as time progresses closer to the wedding to keep updated on if this changes or not.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please be sure to RSVP by Saturday, September 4th, 2021.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 6:00pm.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, please dress in black tie attire. Tuxes/suits and gowns are preferred. Preferred colors are neutrals, muted and dark tones. While our big day is on Halloween weekend, we aren't celebrating it in a literal way during the event. With that said, dressing in costume will not be part of attire.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If you have a plus one it will be noted on your invitation as "& Guest". Not everyone was extended a plus one. If you're not sure please reach out to the bride, Nicole Rex, at (240) 315 - 6050, to verify.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Children who are allowed to attend will be specified on the invitations. If it is not specified on your invitation, then you can assume that the invite is for the adults only. If you are unsure, then please contact the bride, Nicole Rex, at (240) 315 - 6050, to verify.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

The ceremony and reception are at the Baltimore Museum of Art and a valet will be available to park your vehicle upon arriving.

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We are having an "Unplugged Ceremony." This means we are asking that all phones, devices, and cameras be put away and on silent/turned off during the ceremony. Why? We've hired an amazing photographer to capture all the special moments that will happen during the ceremony, and we'd hate to have someone (while well intentioned) blocking the photographer's view with their device while trying to capture those moments. After the ceremony feel free to take as many photos as you'd like! We promise to share the ceremony photos as soon as we get them!
