Ceremony Rehearsal (Invite Only)

Please come in your all white attire you will be wearing for the rehearsal dinner and welcome beach party! Beach Attire: *WHITE BEACH PARTY* Please wear white. For Example: Men can wear white linen pants or shorts with a white polo or button down. Women can wear white sundresses, 2 piece sets or linens. Everyone is encouraged to wear sandals or shoes they are comfortable wearing in the sand (we will likely end up barefoot as the party gets going).

Any guests who have arrived in time for this event are invited to join us for an open bar and s'mores around the fire pits to get to know one another to kick off the weekend! Our vision is to have everyone matching to create one big all white Floridian beach party!

Day To Explore

We have booked 11am beach yoga with a private instructor to kick off the day. (Reminder Omar and Nicole met at this specific instructor's class for the first time in downtown Sarasota in 2021. It will be great to have her included in our celebration!) After yoga for whoever stays on property we will likely spend most of the afternoon around the pool/beach. All rooms come with beach chair and umbrella service. We are also planning to sort a pickle ball tournament for people to participate in if interested. There are golf courses, tennis courts and water sports available for everyone to use at their leisure. This is a free day to enjoy the resort's amenities or explore the city of Sarasota and all it has to offer!

Wedding Ceremony

The ceremony is located at Banyan Cove - you can take the complimentary trolley or walk from the lobby. *Please arrive 15 minutes early to secure your seats.* Please keep in mind, all of our events will be held on the property. However, The Resort at Longboat Key Club is roughly 400 acres in size so, different events will be in unique locations. (We will provide transportation.)
Cocktail Hour
5:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Please join us for cocktails and light bites 20 steps away from the Banyan Tree after the ceremony!
Reception

We are going to have a traditional Chaldean/Assyrian entrance (called a Zafa) followed by a live band from Atlanta as well as a DJ from Detroit playing everything from EDM to Hip Hop and Rock & Roll. Be ready to have some fun and dance your ass off!

Farewell Brunch & Beach Day

Casual Attire: Anything goes, from sundresses and sandals to jeans and tees.
We hope to be able to meet with whoever wants to join us for a farewell brunch and beach day to follow! We will reserve a small section at the restaurant near the pool and brunch with be available for ~$25 pp. As a reminder, each room comes with 2 beach chairs + an umbrella. We are also going to rent a handful of paddle boards and kayaks for people to use during the day.
