The charming village of Scopello sits just above our wedding venue on a hill. The town offers a handful of excellent restaurants and local shops, all centered around its picturesque town square. Since Scopello is quite small, best enjoyed over a few days, we encourage guests extending their time in Sicily to explore nearby towns as well, including Castellammare del Golfo and Erice, both of which offer their own unique character, beautiful views, and great dining options. ~We suggest reserving your stay in Scopello only for our wedding festivities, as you'll have plenty of time to experience the town's charm during that time!

Riserva Naturale Orientata dello Zingaro
If you're looking to get some light exercise in (Nicole+Mike's favorite), we suggest going for a hike in the Zingaro Nature Reserve! Located less than a mile from the village of Scopello is actually the very first nature reserve in Sicily. Today you’ll find 70+ reserves across Sicily that have followed in its path.

Fishing and Barehand Octopus Hunting
Sicily offers some of the best tuna fishing in all of Europe (a Mike favorite). This charter offers bluefin tuna, barehand octopus hunting, giant squid, and much more! (Bluefin tuna in Sicily can weigh up to 1,000 lbs). If you plan on fishing, we recommend reserving soon since there are limited boats.
