What is the dress code for the event?

Answer

Attire can be flexible, but the ceremony / reception will be on the more traditional side so the event attire will be dressy casual to semi-formal (black tie not expected!). One final note - all events will be indoors, but spring time in Minnesota can vary significantly so be prepared to dress accordingly.

Where will the ceremony be held?

**Updated** St. Michael's Church in Farmington, MN. See the schedule tab for more details on the time and address. We are not doing a full Catholic mass, but it will be a Liturgy of the Word ceremony. The total ceremony will likely last about 45 minutes start to finish.

Will transit be provided from the reception and the hotel?

Answer

No transportation will be provided. The two recommended hotels are within walking distance of The Grand Events Center (reception venue). You're also encouraged to car pool with other guests.

Are children welcome at the ceremony & reception?

Answer

Most definitely! The venue will have high chairs and booster seats available.

Can we bring our pets?

Answer

You're welcome to travel with your pets, but unfortunately, no pets are permitted at either the church or the reception venue.

What is the wedding theme?

Answer

The theme is elegant garden party. So not too casual and not too stuffy with lots of creative lighting and plants. The important thing is to enjoy yourselves!

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

There will be an open bar until the end of the dinner (roughly until 7 PM). At that point, the venue bar will transition to a cash bar.
