We met online in November 2016. Marc won me over quickly with his fairly immediate request to meet in person and we had our first date at a bar on November 22nd, 2016. Fortunately, it turns out Marc is a pretty solid catch, so as they say, the rest is history.

On September 6th, 2021 Marc asked me to marry him and I said "YES!" We were on our annual boundary waters trip, and we had an island campsite to ourselves with our dog, Bandit. At sunset, Marc got down on one knee and proposed. It was a gorgeous spot and very special for us - you can see some pictures on the Gallery tab! In the end, Bandit was unimpressed by the whole thing, but this was perfect for us!
