Important: there is no cell phone service at the venue. If you are driving make sure to have your Google maps loaded well before you get close to the venue. There is VERY limited Lyft and taxi service in Estes Park that generally requires advance reservations. But we have three shuttles :)

Weather - Right now, the weather report is saying it will be mostly sunny, 70F, and possibly light rain. During the day you can expect the climate to feel hot and dry. Once the sun sets, the temperature will likely drop to 47F. If you have a light raincoat that should cover you most of the time during the day. The venue will have umbrellas should it drizzle. High Altitude - The elevation of Estes Park and Wild Basin is 7,500-8,500 ft. For sea-level folks and even folks from lower elevations in Colorado this can be a noticeable difference. Signs of altitude sickness can include headache, dizziness, fatigue, and shortness of breath. The best way to prepare is to stay hydrated, make sure you have eaten enough, take it easy/get plenty of rest, and watch your alcohol consumption. The Colorado Sun - the UV in Colorado is really intense. Make sure to wear sunscreen and stay hydrated even if it looks cloudy. Especially for our friends coming from the east coast, the sun in Colorado can sizzle you pretty quickly so make sure to slather on that SPF 50 and drink lots of water. Sun hats and sun hoodies are also popular in Colorado and are a good way to keep from getting sunburned. Our wedding will be at 8300 ft. elevation! Read more here:
