No cell phone service at the venue

Answer

Wild Basin Lodge does not have cell phone service. If you are driving to the venue, and are relying on cell phone GPS, make sure your route is plugged in at the beginning of your trip. Also there are no Lyfts or Ubers available. Please save down to your cell phone our wedding coordinator, Laura’s phone #: 303-250-8089 for emergencies.

What is the weather like?

Answer

Right now, the weather report is saying it will be mostly sunny, 70F, and possibly light rain on our wedding day. During the day you can expect the climate to feel hot and dry. Once the sun sets, the temperature will likely drop to 47F. If you have a light raincoat that should cover you most of the time during the day. The venue will have umbrellas should it drizzle.

What's the elevation in Estes Park/Wild Basin? What should I do to help not get altitude sickness?

Answer

Estes Park has an altitude of 7,722 feet, and Wild Basin is at 8,510 feet. For those going to into RMNP, elevation can exceed 10,000 feet depending on the trail. Everyone will experience the altitude differently. It is recommended to drink twice as much water as you're used to. Maybe go easy on the caffeine and alcohol, and eat extra carbs ;)
