This downtown spot is famous for Flo's pies. We recommend the reuben, the chicken bacon ranch quesadilla, or the Horseshoe - an open-faced sandwich & central IL specialty.
The Beach House
The Beach House is overlooks the lake and has delicious food. We recommend the goat cheese salad and the seafood mac.
El Rodeo Mexican Restaurant
El Rodeo is one of many Mexican restaurants in town. This was where the Bride & Groom had dinner before he proposed. We recommend the margaritas, the chimichanga, and the taquitos.
Overlook Adventure Park
Overlook Adventure Park has batting cages, mini golf, Tillamook ice cream, and a ropes course!
Rock Springs Conservation Center
Rock Springs has walking, hiking, and biking trails in town. You can get there on a walk from Fairview Park or park and walk closer to the conservation area.
Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library & Museum
For those who love history, we recommend the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library & Museum. This is a 45-minute drive from Decatur/Forsyth, but well worth it to see something unique and fun. You'll see on your visit that Illinois takes Lincoln very seriously as a namesake after he spent much of his childhood living here.
