We ask guests to dress in "Garden Formal" attire. Think black tie optional: floor length gowns, with florals and pastels, and dark or linen suits. The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside in the grass.
Prior to the ceremony, guests are invited to arrive at 5pm to Hildene and explore the historic Lincoln Family Home. Look out for The Lincoln Bible, one of Abe's famous top hats, and other family heirlooms. No food or drink permitted inside the historic home.
Wedding
5:30 pm - 11:30 pm

The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30pm. The Bride & Groom will exchange vows within the beautiful formal garden surrounded by spectacular mountain views and the lovely Battenkill River. Immediately following the ceremony, a cocktail hour will take place within the formal garden from 6-7pm. We then invite all guests to PARTY in the new Lincoln Hall from 7-11:30pm.
After Party

Guests are invited to the After Party located across the street from the Taconic Hotel. Please note limited transportation is available to this venue & back to hotels. Guests will be able to enjoy a local Manchester staple and mingle with other Wedding guests. And we mean other Weddings- not just ours, as the space accommodates multiple late night events.
