Hillary and Nicole met at the University of Northern Colorado, as they began their PhD journeys together. Essentially, Hillary accosted Nicole in the breezeway during their graduate orientation and forced her to be friends. I suppose it worked, because we ended up being roomies at some point. Hillary is the only person Nicole could ever live with, other than Erika. Nicole "followed" Hillary back to Washington so they could still hang out. But mostly, Nicole is happy she gets to hang out with Tyr (dog) and Brooks (baby Robey).
Kyle Redzinak
Best Man
Erika met Kyle...well, when she was 5 years old and he was born. At first, Erika was really excited to have a little brother, but after about 6 months, she grew weary of the lack of attention paid to her. "He was a new shiny toy, then I got bored." - Erika. Needless to say, Erika came around because Kyle idolized his big sister and always wanted to play with Legos and Lincoln Logs with her. Today, they are as close as can be. They are goofy together but can always switch gears and have the most special heart to heart conversations. Erika couldn't imagine having anyone else by her side in this moment.
Nathan Robey
Best Man
Nicole also met Nathan at the University of Northern Colorado during grad school. They fast became friends because Hillary had a crush on "the new doc student." While Hillary and Nicole were roomies during their last year, Nathan and his dog, Tyr, also became honorary roomies. Nicole and Nathan had many heart to heart convos and became summer adventure buds when Hillary would head back to WA for the summer. For all the "finger guns" when walking by exercise physiology labs and the mending of each other's broken hearts (you know why, Hillary... :-) ), Nathan and Nicole have been by each other's sides through a lot, so why not keep that going!
Corinna Adams-Lambert
Giver Awayer - Dudette of Honor
Erika and Corinna met in high school in Tacoma, Wa and have been great friends ever since. They went to college together at Western Washington University (in Bellingham), they've been roommates, and have been a part of nearly every big moment of each other's lives. Corinna has always been there for the ups and downs and has been Erika's biggest ally since day one. Erika can always count on Corinna to have her back, and vice versa.

What to say about Erika’s mom who has not only been Erika’s biggest fan, but also been in her corner and her rock. Erika has grown to be an amazing and caring human…in spite of her mother…because of her mom’s unconditional love, support, and kindness. Her lack of filter always keeps it real and always makes the brides laugh.

Giver Awayer - Dude of Honor
Nicole was super intrigued when she learned she was not an only child, but in fact, had a big brother. Robert was, well, what anyone with a big brother could imagine...kind of a butthole, but super protective of his little sister. While their relationship has had it's rocky moments (we're not glorifying anything here), they've been each other's biggest supporters. Their relationship has blossomed over the years, and they know that their father would burst into tears (he was, in fact, a big sappy baby) watching Robert walk his little sister down the aisle.

Somehow, out of the clear blue sky, Nicole’s nephew turned 16. We think he’s responsible enough now to hang onto the bride’s rings. He’s already promised to semi-embarrass his aunt, so she’ll get him back!

Jonny and Alissa can't make the wedding due to some family stuff. But we love them so much, we couldn't just take them off the wedding party list, because they're still going to be there in our hearts and minds!
