How do I find my travel details?

How do I arrange transport to and from the airport?

Answer

For guests that booked through DestinationWeddings.com and opted into Round Trip airport transfer, Carrie has arranged round trip transportation and will be reaching out to confirm your shuttle be October. All other guests, must arrange their own transportation to and from the airport.

Any Travel Tips?

Answer

If you are interested in fast-track service through immigration, customs and security upon arrival and departure from the airport, we recommend going to vipattractions.com to book your service with Club Mobay. Club Mobay also includes access to the Airport Lounge.

I see excursions on the Travel Website, should I book one?

Answer

No, you do not have to book any excursion at this time. The Bride and Groom plan to arrange a Sunset Cruise as an optional Wedding Weekend Event, RSVP on the site if you would like to attend. The Travel website does provide other excursions that some wedding guests may wish to do independently outside of the scheduled events for the Wedding.

All guests must fly into Montego Bay Jamaica - Sangster International Airport (MBJ)

Can I stay longer?

Answer

The recommended travel dates are November 21, 2024 to November 24, 2024. However, guests are allowed to stay up to 5 nights through our Room Block at our discounted per room rate.

What is a Preferred Club Room?

Answer

A Preferred Club room gives you exclusive access to the Preferred Club lounge and designated areas throughout the resort, an upgraded suite in premium location, upgraded mini bar, and enhanced room amenities. The Preferred Club also gives you access to the Breathless Resort next door which has the only rooftop pool & bar in Montego Bay, as well as several other restaurants.

Am I able to bring a child to the wedding?

Answer

Unfortunately, Secrets Wild Orchid Montego Bay is an adults-only Resort, therefore no guest under 18 will be allowed to stay at the resort or attend the wedding.

Can I book another hotel?

Answer

The Bride and Groom prefer all guests to stay at The Secrets Wild Orchid Montego Bay. An additional cost may be incurred for any guest staying in a different resort, please contact the couple for additional information.

I will be traveling to Jamaica alone for the wedding, which type of room should I book?

Answer

Solo wedding guests will need to book a single occupancy room, which is more expensive than sharing a double occupancy room with another individual. If they would like to bring a +1 or be matched with a roommate please contact the Bride or Groom ASAP.

Is the wedding the same week as Thanksgiving?

Answer

No, the wedding is a week before Thanksgiving, so you can attend the wedding and still spend the Thanksgiving holiday with your family. Thanksgiving is on November 28th in 2024.
