We met on Bumble in November of 2022. We had our first date at Marcello’s in Bordentown, NJ on December 5th, 2022. Nicole came storming into the date complaining about traffic and parking. Nicole then proceeded to quiz Dan on his views of New York City mayors and Dan passed the test with flying colors. Afterwards we walked around bordentown and looked at all the Christmas lights and the magic of bordentown during the magic of the holiday season. We both didn’t want the night to end! A few weeks later on December 18th Dan was driving back from DC and we talked for hours on his way back. He came over and he asked for Nicole to be his girlfriend. It was our second time meeting but we both knew we had something special that we wanted to explore and discover together. And that’s the story of how two ex-pat New Yorkers met in the Garden State and started growing their own Garden State love story with the help of a very busy bumble bee!
