Graz Gal #2! Lauren was Nicole's first friend and (in high school) first enemy. Luckily that didn’t last and Lauren now spends her time trying to be “just like Nicole” her cool big sister. While Lauren enjoys a Barbie movie, her true joy is roping Nicole into outrageous outdoor adventures. Luckily, Nicole is compliant and the two have spent many days frolicking in the mountains, sleeping in the car, drinking good (and bad) coffee, skiing moguls till close, and rolling in the dirt.

The youngest Hurford! Cole and Clay have logged more miles outdoors, whether it is skiing, hiking, or somewhere in between, than most people manage in a lifetime. Let’s not forget the golf course has its own chapter entirely. If it's outside, they've done it. And when they've run out of terrain at home, they've gone looking elsewhere: from the beaches of Mexico to the mountains of Japan.

Graz Gal #3! The baby sister! Claire works full-time for the Navy but her part-time job is convincing Nicole and Cole to move to Washington. There, they can run and cold plunge every day, watch sunrises, climb mountains, ski their hearts out, and Nicole can dye Claire's hair pink more than twice a year. Claire enjoys keeping Nicole young by giving her the occasional hangover or making her sleep on a futon with her two sisters. She promises a recovery day full of coffee, cozy bookstores, and a Barbie movie (or 3).

Andrew and Cole go all the way back to youth baseball, when the only thing on the line was Leon Gessi's. By high school they were rivals on the field and on the court, only to end up as LA roommates for a couple months. Whether it was wins, losses, or life throwing curveballs in between, Andrew has been there for all of it. The definition of a constant.

Tiffany and Nicole met in 2010 in Oxford, MI on a mission trip and have not known life without the other since! 16 years of friendship includes trips in high school to visit each other in Colorado and North Carolina, Tiffany introducing Nicole to running (yep, it started here!), and college spring breaks and graduations. Nicole and Tiffany have been there for all of life’s special moments for each other and Nicole’s engagement was no exception with the international BFF trip making it out of the chat!
Parker Dow

Parker and Cole have been collecting memories since college. Those memories then expanded the operation to DC fresh out of college, the golf course, and basically living together at the ski house in the winters. The kind of friend who doesn't need a special occasion to show up, just an open calendar and a decent forecast. Years of shared experiences and Parker's still right there. That says everything.

Megan and Nicole met in college and trauma bonded over a group project where one individual did exactly zero, so they picked up the slack and complained through the whole thing! Throughout their friendship Megan and Nicole have shared many trails, mountain summits, broken and rained out tents (we should be concerned), and Megan's first home! Favorite things to do together include exploring new coffee shops, thrifting, crocheting, and binging Love Is Blind.

Ryan and Cole met each other through Annalise and wasted no time making up for lost years. Montana trips, backcountry hut adventures, ski days in Aspen; the kind of friendship that racks up memories fast and shows up even faster when it counts. Good things don't always take decades to be real, and this one is proof.

Heather and Nicole met while working at Sherwin-Williams. They connected over art, complaining about annoying customers, and sushi! From brunch dates to nights out in Denver, camping to watercoloring, or wandering through museums to belting the Wicked soundtrack every time they're in the car together, prepare yourself for a whirlwind of energy and possibly (most likely) show tunes when these two are in the room!

Rick has been there since the very beginning. As Beth's uncle and Cole's great-uncle, he's been woven into the fabric of his life longer than either of them can remember. Through every high, every plot twist, and everything in between, Rick has been the steady presence in the room. The one who's told all the stories, the fun ones and the interesting ones, and loved this family through all of it. There's no one more fitting to stand up front and make it official.
