I’m Kayla! I first met Nicole through CJ about 6 years ago and we all work together at Illumina. I became even closer friends with Nicole after living with them for a few months. We spent a lot of time together and went on adventures to try new food whenever CJ was out of town. Nicole and I found a mutual love of line-dancing after an Illumina Ugly Sweater Bar Crawl where CJ donned an elf onesie about 3 sizes too small. Over the years we’ve spent many, many bad movie nights complete with meeting notes, restaurant weeks, and taco/line-dancing nights together. We even survived a trip to Vegas on Memorial Day weekend. Nicole is one of the kindest, sweetest, and most generous people I know and I am beyond “honored” to stand by her side on her wedding day!

Hi, I’m Shannon! I first met CJ and then Nicole in the labs at Illumina, and watched their relationship grow from quick glances to head over heels love. Besides work, Nicole and I have a mutual love of good food- from Thai food trucks to unique flavored donuts and ice cream. Over the years, it’s been a privilege to have such a great friend, and join in celebrations of their milestones, from new homes, to new pets, and all the goofy stories along the way. Next up is seeing Nicole and CJ get married, and onto the next part of their journey together full of happiness and creating great memories.

Mackenzie’s favorite activities with the couple are Disneyland trips and doggie play date adventures with Mackenzie’s husky, Stella. She is excited to see the happy couple tie the knot, and can’t wait to celebrate their love while dancing the night away!

Hi, I'm Natalie Teale and I am the sister of the bride. Nicole has always been someone that I look up to and aspire to be like. She introduced me to several of my favorite interests, including Harry Potter, Disney, and music.
