Maid of Honor
LouLou gave me the title of big sister many years ago. I strongly believe that God creates someone for everyone, and the honor of Him giving me a sister like her is beyond a gift. Growing up with Lou was full of fun memories — from being little kids playing “teacher & student” (where I often put her in detention) to being teenagers going to the latest scary movies and then having to sleep in the same bed because we were so scared. LouLou is someone who is loved by all. She is kind, generous, gorgeous, and incredibly driven. Although she’s now an adult, she will always be that little sister asking, “Will you play with me?” Choosing her as my maid of honor was by far the easiest decision.
Best Man
Chase is my older brother. He's an overall man of many skills. Chase could honestly win on any survival show. Some of my favorite memories with Chase are going hunting together in Bethel Ridge and building wall tents in my parent's backyard.
Bridesmaid
Paige Lewis & I first met in high school — though back then, she was Paige Graham. She was a beautiful, tall, and a quick basketball player who hardly ever missed a shot...and I had the privilege of guarding her. After years of her proving she was the better player, I figured once we graduated, we’d probably never see each other again. Fast forward to Linfield College, where Paige became friends with my cousins. She invited me over for game nights, Dutch Bros runs, and even came to my lacrosse games in freezing rain. I never would’ve guessed that #5 from Scio would become one of my best friends — or that she’d end up marrying my cousin. Family occasions are even better because I get to see my best friend every time. Having Paige as my bridesmaid had been in the books far before I met Chad.
Groomsman
Mitch and I met in 2016 at the Polk Country Fire District where we were resident firefighters. Mitch and I became good buddies because we both share the same humor. Mitch is an extremely talented musician.
Bridesmaid
I met Sydney at Capital Medical Center in 2020 — we were both nurses in the ICU. Not even 10 minutes after meeting her, I said, “We’re going to be best friends.” I’m so grateful she didn’t run in the opposite direction, because she became my best friend. Without her, I wouldn’t have gained the confidence and skills to start a whole new career in pediatrics. Sydney is the type of person who juggles a million things on her plate but still makes time to answer my constant phone calls and text messages. She is beautiful, witty, and endlessly supportive. From our times brewery hopping to planning her daughter's first birthday, I have countless memories with her. Much like our friendship, I didn’t give her an option when it came to being my bridesmaid. I couldn't imagine her not standing by my side.
Groomsman
I met Spencer through my fiancé, who became close friends with his wife. Spencer is the type of guy that will always show up whenever you need him. Some of my favorite memories involve pool days and our annual "SCH Party".
Honorary Bridesmaid
Everyone should have a "cool" friend- and that's just what Sarah is to me. Sarah is a woman of many hats. She runs ultramarathons, hikes outrageously hard trails, works night shift, makes most food and household items from scratch, etc. Sarah and I met in college while playing on the lacrosse team. We found out we were two small town girls and it's been history since then. Sarah is a beautiful, driven, delightful, loyal person who I get to call my forever friend. Sarah will not be able to make it to the wedding...because she's having a baby! We are beyond excited for her newest addition but she will be greatly missed. If you hear Dancing Queen by Abba, dance as hard as you can because that's what Sarah would be doing.
Groomsman
Kyle and I have been friends since we met at West Pierce Fire Department in 2022. Having Kyle as a partner through the fire academy to working at the same station has been full of fun memories. Can't wait to have him by our side on the wedding day!
Groomsman
Sam and I met when we were just kids learning to play T-ball. We have lots of memories playing in the dirt with our Tonka Trucks to drinking beers together. Sam is a friend where we can pick up right where we left off.
Groomsman
Michael and I met at Port Angeles Fire Department in 2019. Michael left PAFD and went to become a firefighter at West Pierce Fire Department in 2021. Michael encouraged me to apply to WPFD and I'm forever thankful. Michael is a great guy, and I'm excited for him to be a groomsman!
Officiant
Rylan introduced us back in 2017 by setting us up on a blind date. Who would've thought 9.5 years later that he would be marrying us! Rylan knew Nicole since kindergarten and met Chad at Polk Country Fire District where they were resident firefighters. We are forever thankful for Rylan!
