Seattle Highlights

The Wedding Website of Nicole Krawczewicz and Blaine Herrmann
We’re SO happy to be able to invite all of our loved ones to visit the PNW! We hope you’ll have some time to explore Seattle and maybe even venture out to enjoy the really great outdoors. Sharing some of our favorite places to visit and foods to eat as a starting point for your exploration.

Breakfast at Dahlia Bakery

2001 4th Avenue, Seattle, WA 98121

Best breakfast sandwiches in Seattle if you ask Nicole. Also top notch pastry selection.

Enjoy waterfront views at Marination Ma Kai

1660 Harbor Avenue Southwest, Seattle, WA 98126

Take the water taxi from downtown, order a couple of kahlua sliders and a tropical beverage, and enjoy the view of downtown from our neighborhood in West Seattle!

Smash That Burger

1050 North 34th Street, Seattle, WA 98105

You can’t go wrong getting a burger and a beer from Smash That Burger at Fremont Brewing.

Sushi at Umi Sake House

2230 1st Avenue, Seattle, WA 98121

Our favorite sushi spot - and where we had our second date :)

Dinner at Ciudad

6118 12th Avenue South, Seattle, WA 98108

Ok this might actually be our favorite restaurant in Seattle. Get a spicy carrot or beet marg and definitely the cauliflower!

Brewery hop in Ballard

826 Northwest 49th Street, Seattle, WA 98107

No trip to the PNW is complete without a microbrew! The Ballard neighborhood is crawling with breweries and taprooms. Some of our favorites are Great Notion, Yonder Cider, and Urban Family.

Kayak, SUP, or Boat on Lake Union

Seattle, WA

Rent a kayak or paddle board, simmer in a hot tub boat, avoid seaplanes in an electric party boat, or cold plunge off a floating sauna. Sights include Gas Works Park, the houseboat from Sleepless in Seattle, and our wedding venue!

Catch a Mariner’s Game

1250 1st Avenue South, Seattle, WA 98134

Obviously we come for the food. T-Mobile Park has so many local favorite restaurant outposts — highly recommend Moto Pizza, Tamari Bar, or a Seattle dog.

Take a hike!

1247 15th Ave E, Seattle, WA 98112

We are spoiled for amazing trails. Some faves include Summit Lake, Oyster Dome, or Wallace Falls. Looking for an urban hike? Take a walk around the Sculpture Garden, Green Lake, Volunteer Park, or Lincoln Park for some time in nature without leaving the city.

Watch the sunset at Alki Beach

Seattle, WA 98116

We love our neighborhood beach! It’s where we play sand volleyball, take morning walks, and watch the sunset over fish & chips.
