When should I RSVP by?

Please let us know whether you’re able to make it by July 15, 2026. The RSVP tab is now open on our website!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Festive / cocktail attire is requested. Summery fabrics and bold colors are welcomed. Wear something you feel fabulous in! Comfortable dancing shoes and a layer for after dark are a good idea.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the wedding?

Answer

Yes! A shuttle will be available to transport guests to and from the hotels. Pickup times are as follows: Shuttle 1: 3:50pm at the Residence Inn Downtown/Convention Center 4:05pm at the Astra Hotel 4:30pm drop-off at the M.V. Skansonia Shuttle 2: 4:00pm at the Residence Inn Downtown/Convention Center 4:15pm at the Astra Hotel 4:45pm drop-off at the M.V. Skansonia Shuttle returning to hotels will begin at 9:00pm and cycle until the end of the event.

Is there parking at the wedding venue?

Answer

There is no venue designated parking, and street parking is limited near the venue. We will have a shuttle that picks up and drops off at the hotels. We highly suggest planning to take that or taking an Uber/Lyft.

Is the wedding kid friendly?

Answer

We love all of your kiddos so much, but space at our venue is limited so we are not able to accommodate guests under age 10. If you're traveling with your little ones, we'd love to see them at Seapine on Friday or at the park on Sunday!

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Unfortunately due to space and budget limitations, we can't afford for all of our guests to bring a guest of their own. We request that our guests do not bring a plus one unless they are specifically named on the invitation. Thank you for your understanding!

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place on the bow of the boat — expect sunshine! The bar is inside and you’ll have free range of the ferry during cocktail hour (inside and outside on the decks). Dinner will be served inside. While we won’t be sailing, the floors of this historic ferry boat are not perfectly even so stilettos aren’t recommended.

What if I get seasick?

Answer

The M.V. Skansonia is fully retired from her sea-faring days. Rest assured we’ll be fully docked with access to shore for the entire duration of the event.
