Will transportation be provided to and from the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! We will be providing transportation from the Wyndham Alltra and Mahekal Hotels. More information on the timing of the shuttle buses will be provided closer to the day of. Do you have a welcome event?

Answer

Yes! Everyone is invited to join us at La Perla Pixan on Friday, November 10th at 9:00 pm. We will have the restaurant to ourselves for a 3-hour open bar event.

What is the best airport to fly into?

Answer

Cancun International Airport. Taxis are the best form of transportation from Cancun to Playa del Carmen, where we will be staying.

How do I get from the airport to the Hotel?

Answer

Coordinating a taxi to take you from Cancun airport to your hotel before you land is the easiest way to ensure a cheap ride. This can be coordinated by most hotels or reaching our to our travel coordinators at Gorila Travel. In the event that you do book a taxi beforehand there are ample taxis available at Cancun airport that can take your party to Playa Del Carmen.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire For men linen suits are appropriate. For women either full-length or midi dresses in tropical colors are welcome. Please DO NOT WEAR STILETTOS, but rather block heels or wedges to navigate the sand.

Due to limited capacity, only those who are formally named on the invitation are invited. Thank you for understanding!

Are kids allowed?

Answer

Unless you are a close family member, no kids are allowed. If this is an impediment to you being able to attend, please reach out to us in advance.

Is Playa del Carmen safe?

Answer

With its massive resorts and tourist oriented beach towns, the Riviera Maya is free of most big-city dangers. Playa del Carmen is generally safe in tourist areas and police are constantly patrolling the area. The Yucatán peninsula is one of the most visited tourist areas in the country. You will see a lot of security, patrolling around the beaches and the highway. Let common sense be your guide leave the flashy jewelry at home. Use ATMs during the day, store valuables in hotel safe, keep an eye on your belongings and watch your drinking in public. Avoid Cancun Center City late at night and try to be part of a group and avoid walking outside the main city area of Playa Del Carmen at night.

Is the tap water safe to drink?

Answer

Within or outside of your hotels, it is best to avoid drinking the tap water, eating fruit or vegetable without peels, and asking for ice in your beverages for extra caution.
