Founded in 1992, the museum is dedicated to preserving, interpreting and displaying physical items significant in racing and automotive history. We highly recommend this Five Star Museum! Saturday Hours: 9am-1pm.
September 6th is GAME DAY in Nebraska! Memorial Stadium will be hosting the Akron Zips. Game time is TBA! If you are a football fan, Cornhusker Nation will not disappoint! If you would rather sit on the sidelines on game day, check out the Haymarket for the Sea of Red Fans and explore campus landmarks like Bob Devaney, Tom Osborne and Legacy Statues, the Bob Devaney & Tom Osborne Tribute, and the Hall of Fame Plaza. The University is also home to several Museums including the International Quilt Study Center, Sheldon Museum of Art, University of Nebraska State Museum and the Great Plains Art Museum.

Free one hour guided tours begin at the North Entrance on the Second Floor. Enjoy the bird’s eye view of Lincoln from the observation deck weather permitting. Saturday tours run from 9am - 4pm.
Built in 1930, this garden features sculptures, lawn space & lily ponds amid lush landscaping. This is a beautiful garden packed with a variety of plants and flowers. Simply a nice place to walk and relax! Free parking lot next to the garden.
