While we love your children, our wedding will be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.
We have reserved a limited block of rooms in our name at the Hyatt Place Newark-Main Street Hotel and the Springhill Suites Newark Hotel. More details are on the travel page. While we don’t have a room block reserved, if our main hotels are full, we suggest checking out the Courtyard Newark University of Delaware hotel as a great nearby option.
When you RSVP, please indicate if you have a dietary restriction in the space provided so we can do our best to accommodate your needs. Whether it’s allergies, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, or any other dietary preference, please let us know so we can do our best to ensure there are suitable options available for you.
The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Think cocktail dresses, LBDs, dressy jumpsuits, suits and ties, or sport coats and slacks.
Yes, parking is available at the venue. If you are planning to drive, please be sure to follow the signs and note the designated parking areas upon arrival. Guests are not permitted to park in the grass. If you had a little too much fun and are unable to drive after our wedding, you may leave your vehicle overnight. All vehicles must be off the grounds by 9am the following morning.
Shuttle services will be available to transport guests from the Hyatt Place Hotel and Springhill Suites Hotel to Rosewood Farms, with departures from both hotels at 3:30 PM sharp. Please note that the shuttles will only make one trip, so be sure to arrive on time and don't miss your ride! Guests not staying at either hotel are more than welcome to use the shuttle service—just head to one of the pickup locations before departure. Return shuttles will depart Rosewood Farms at 10:15 PM, bringing guests back to both hotels. If you're planning to join us at the after-party at Deer Park Tavern, be sure to catch the shuttle to Hyatt Place!
Our ceremony and reception will take place indoors. Cocktail hour will be split between an indoor/outdoor patio.
We would love to continue celebrating with you at our *unofficial* after party at the Deer Park Tavern. Please note that this will be a cash bar event. Guests interested in attending our after party should take the shuttle from our reception to the Hyatt Place hotel. The Deer Park Tavern is a very short walk from the Hyatt Place hotel and a 5-minute Uber from the Springhill Suites hotel.
