Nick and I have lived in Central Square for almost 5 years now! It's a super fun part of Cambridge where you can thrift at Boomerangs, grab a pastry at Flour, and get some records at Cheapo Records. Later, I recommend following it up with dinner at Little Donkey and finishing your day off by grabbing some ice cream at New City Microcreamery.
A very unique and fun museum!
The Boston public library is more than just books. I highly recommend an architecture tour and having tea in their famous tea room, curated by some of the best chefs in Boston. Make sure to book your reservation for tea in advance because it fills up fast!
Newbury is the epicenter of shopping in Boston, along with the Prudential, Boston's shopping center, located parallel to Newbury st.
Nick and I had our first date here and is right next to Northeastern's campus, where we met.
A fun location to catch a baseball game or just walk around and shop! Grab some breakfast at Tatte, take a tour of Fenway park and grab some dinner at Timeout Market.
The North End of Boston is full of history and Italian food. You can follow Paul Revere's trail, see improv at the Improv asylum, have some dinner at Mamma Maria's and end with a cannoli at Modern Pastry ( preferred over Mike's Pastry in our opinion).
The esplanade is a public walkway that goes along the Charles River and is beautiful in the summer. I recommend stopping at Nightshift Brewery's popup along your walk for a pint of beer and some fun games!
Beacon hill is a cute neighborhood next to the Boston Commons with lots of local shops and cobblestone streets.
