Travel

We’re so excited for you to experience California’s beautiful Wine Country with us. Napa Valley is known for its vineyards, incredible food, and stunning scenery, and we hope you’ll have time to explore while you're here. There are three major airports that serve the Napa Valley area. From each airport, guests typically rent a car or use rideshare services to reach St. Helena. Because October is one of the most popular times of year to visit Napa Valley, hotels tend to book quickly. We highly recommend reserving your accommodations as early as possible. Napa is approximately 20–30 minutes from our venue (Brindare) and Calistoga is about 15–20 minutes away.

Flight

Flying In

There are 3 Airports that can get you to St. Helena, California. San Francisco International Airport (SFO) San Francisco International Airport is the largest airport in the region and offers the widest selection of domestic and international flights. Many guests traveling from outside California will likely find the best flight options here. SFO is located about 60 miles from Napa Valley, and the drive to St. Helena typically takes 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on traffic. Oakland International Airport (OAK) Oakland International Airport is often a convenient option for domestic travelers and tends to be slightly smaller and easier to navigate than SFO. It is located about 50 miles from Napa Valley, and the drive to St. Helena usually takes around 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on traffic. Sacramento International Airport (SMF) Sacramento International Airport is another great option, especially for guests traveling from the western United States. It is typically less congested than the Bay Area airports and offers many nonstop flights across the country. The drive to St. Helena is about 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on traffic.

Rental Car

Getting Around

The easiest way to get around Napa Valley is by renting a car. While rideshare services like Uber and Lyft are available, they can sometimes be limited in the St. Helena area, especially later in the evening. If you plan to rent a car, we recommend doing so at San Francisco (SFO) or Sacramento (SMF) airports, as rental pickup tends to be more straightforward. Renting a car at Oakland (OAK) can sometimes involve off-site rental locations and additional shuttle transfers. If you prefer not to rent a car, you may also consider arranging a private car service or shuttle from the airport to your hotel.
