We're getting married!

Ashley and Nick met in college in Spring of 2014. They first saw each other in an accounting class where they were assigned to a small group together for the semester. Nick said he thought Ashley had the most beautiful smile he'd ever seen. It turns out that they had a few classes together and the same lunch break. They sat next to each other when they could and would eat lunch at places around campus. Eventually, a group of students with similar schedules started eating lunch together. They all became friends. Nick and Ashley were otherwise involved at the time, but they became good friends. Ashley watched and heard Nick laugh so hard he farted. Nick was never embarrassed, and she admired it. She began to notice how he just loved life and that everytime she was with him, things just felt easy. Nick started to notice Ashley more. Ashley's car had broken down and he offered to drop her off at the train station. She hopped into his truck, and sat criss cross in his passenger seat. He thought she just looked so comfortable there, and that he could see himself falling in love with her. In the Fall 2014 semester, Nick and Ashley both found themselves available. On October 30th, they decided to study together for midterms. Like the good students they are, they decided to blow it off and get Olive Garden instead. Nick was already in love with Olive Garden. Seeing Ashley there next to his favorite breadsticks sealed the deal. He had to make move on her. One thing led to another, and well.. who knew that an accounting class could lead to a lifetime of love and happiness.

Nick proposed on Friday, October 23rd, 2020 at the Williams Home in Valley Center, CA. This proposal was disguised as a maternity photo shoot for Crimson while she was pregnant Nick and Ashley’s godson Ace. This involved planning months in advance led by Nick, Crimson and Heather, with Ashley none the wiser. Close family and friends were there to witness this spectacle as Nick sang and played “I Wanna Grow Old With You “to Ashley before asking the big question. However, before asking for her hand in marriage Nick sprinted inside the Williams home as he had forgotten the ring. A 60 year old ring that was passed down from Ashley’s grandmother, Rose. Nevertheless, with speed faster than the Flash, Nick returned ring in hand and wobbly legs as he knelt. With a “Yes!” response to Nicks proposal the audience roared in applause and the rest of the night was filled with drinks, photos, Olive Garden, laughs and love.
