Most travelers need an eTA instead of a visa. Apply via Official Kenyan eTA Portal Processing Time: ~3 working days (apply at least 5 days before departure). Requirements: Valid passport (6+ months), travel details, accommodation info, and a recent passport photo.

Uber is reliable and works great in Nairobi. You can pay with your card attached to the Uber app or through mobile money (Mpesa). Cash is reluctantly accepted for Uber service. Uber drivers should not ask you for extra money, if they do, don’t get in the Uber (always say the amount stated on the app before getting in). Bolt is an alternative to Uber. There are plenty of Bolt riders in the city as well. We recommend that you download both Bolt and Uber to have more ride options.
Shuttle

On our wedding night, we’ll have a shuttle service running at one-hour intervals from 9 PM onwards to conveniently drop guests off at their accommodations in Tigoni area. We want everyone to celebrate freely and get back safely! 🚐✨

There are plenty of options. We highly recommend booking through Airbnb / hotel websites. This goes without saying: please read reviews before booking. We can also always help you verify! To save cost, we can add you to a WhatsApp group with other guests and you can share accommodation as per what works best for you. For Airbnbs, we recommend these areas: ✅ Runda, Tigoni, Limuru (close to the venue) ✅ Lavington, Kileleshwa (close to where we live) ✅ Kitusuru, Kilimani, Karen (why not)
