Nicola is a 5'4 blonde with blue eyes. She is an Aries. If you have any trouble recognizing her at the wedding, she'll be the one in a big white dress forcing children to dance with her.

Alex is Sam's younger brother, and didn't write his bio in time so Sam is writing it for him. He's taller than Sam but otherwise looks pretty similar. He tells good jokes and used to be really into sneakers but honestly I'm not sure if that's still his thing; you'll have to ask him.

In west Ecuador born, not raised. In Hoboken is where I spend most of my days. Climbing up rocks, relaxing, all cool, watching cars racing, or using my tools. Then a couple of kids, who were up to no good, started hanging out in Brooklyn; now they live by my hood. I’m Nicola’s brother and very touched to be her man of honor.

Sister of the bride and primary provider of nieces and nephews. Melanie looks like Nicola only slightly taller and nerdier. She lives in North Carolina with her husband Kerry and their 6 children.

Becca is a recent college grad that is hopefully employed by now (she is writing this in April 2019). She is Sam's (and Alex's) only and favorite sister. She is a Capricorn, but more importantly a Leo rising. She enjoys yoga, nature walks, and watching music videos on YouTube. If you see her say hi!

Stephanie has been a "Nicola-groupie" since they both partook in what could only be characterized as the most vindictively-instructed creative writing class in the history of university writing courses. She lives with her husband, Dan, in Hoboken, where they regularly exchange cute cat pictures with Sam and Nicola. For the record, their cat Snoop Dogg is definitely not as well behaved as Sookie and Winky, but Stephanie loves her anyway.

Alyssa met Sam and Nicola at the Columbia Publishing Program, so she’s witnessed their whole love story from the beginning. She’s over the moon that two of her favorite people found each other, and have asked her to be part of their wedding, especially since Nicola helped Alyssa pick her wedding dress when she got married a few years ago. When she and Sam aren’t “talking” (read: arguing) over their favorite books, she and Nicola are trading DIY tips, talking about yoga, art, or their pets.

Naomi Rand Werlin slept in a big kid bed for 2 nights because she’s a big kid sometimes. Her favorite food is “snack.” She will often be heard saying, “Pink and purple are my favorite. Do you like pink and purple a little bit?” She has a savant ability to identify specks of pink and purple in her surroundings. Naomi has begun dress rehearsals in preparation for school (she has several years to practice still). She has mastered putting random things in a backpack to disappear for extended periods and walking around the house in a circle, preparing for snack time, and sitting still for one minute work sessions. She planted multiple seeds in the home garden this year and did an excellent job weeding out both weeds and desirable plants, so she is is well suited for flower girl duties.

Sookie is Winky's sister. She wishes she could go to the wedding, where she would hide under a chair until Nicola walked by, at which point she would forget her social anxiety and attack mommy's train, mouth first.

Cat of Honor

Winky is Sookie's sister. Hobbies include, stealing her sister's food and purring freight train-loudly with her mouth open. A vet tech once said she might be a Himalayan, which seems perfectly obvious to her, even if Sookie is clearly not a Himalayan.
