It wouldn’t be a trip to Coffs without a visit to the Big Banana and, in particular, Reptile World!
Pacific Bay Resort
Pac Bay is close to Aanuka and is a great course for a casual 9 holes of golf. Great for all ability levels. Macca took Nicola here on a date where she insisted on using a driver on the 9th hole. Let’s just say that it was lucky there was no one in the pool at the time…
Coffs Harbour Jetty
We take a walk down here most days with our little Alfie! On Sunday there are markets and it’s a great spot for a recovery swim too!
Boambee Headland Lookout
This is a beautiful lookout and coastal walk. When we lived with Nicola’s parents this was our local afternoon walk spot!
Dark Arts Cafe & Bar
Wally insists this is the best coffee in town.
The Hoey Moey
A great pub feed and maybe also the location of our first kiss!
Jetty Beach House Coffs Harbour
If you’re looking for a beer or lunch with a view, you can’t beat the Jetty Beach House! Great for the little ones too.
Bellingen
If you've got time, Bellingen is a great drive and lovely little town. Nicola often drags Macca to the Bellingen markets and makes him suffer through many second hand clothes stalls!
Horse Riding with Taylor Made Equine Connections
Sally might be nursing a sore head come Sunday (blame Mr Bundy), but if you're sticking around for the long weekend, make sure you book a trail ride—nothing cures a hangover like a horse and a helmet. Side note: If you're in the market for a boat (specifically a Barcrusher) swing by and see her lesser-half, Dayne, at North Coast Boating Centre. He sells boats, tells average jokes, and makes a mean instant coffee.
