New Muses Theatre Company at the Dukesbay Theater
Award-winning fringe theatre in Tacoma. There won't be a show running during the wedding weekend because the managing artistic director and box office manager are otherwise... *engaged.* But you can see this amazing company perform at many other times throughout the year. ;)
The Grand Cinema
One of our favorite places to see a movie. Showing independent, foreign, and classic films in the heart of Tacoma.
Red Star Taco Bar
Our go-to spot for Tacos & Margaritas. Happy hour starts at 10pm. Bethany's favorite drink is the house margarita with a real lime and Niclas' favorite taco is the carnitas on a corn tortilla.
Doyle's Public House
One of our favorite places to get a hearty meal, especially later in the evening. Bethany really enjoys the Cheesy Brit (but no pickles), and Niclas is partial to the Bangers & Mash.
Tacoma Book Center
Washington's largest used book store is an adventure. A great place to pick up some reading material and hunt for buried literary treasures. Right next to the Tacoma Dome.
Wright Park
Our favorite park to go and have a bit of a wander. Check out the beautiful and varied trees throughout the arboretum and take a bit of time to visit the botanical conservatory at the top of the hill. There's also a great playground for our guests with kids.
Titlow Park
A great place to go for a walk by the beach. Wonderful views of Puget Sound and the Narrows Bridge.
