Should I come for the whole weekend (Thurs-Sun)?

Answer

YES! Please do. We chose this venue because we want to spend as much time as possible with our friends and family. We appreciate you all traveling for this as we know it’s a trek and we are trying our best to make it worth your while. THANK YOU!

Question

I have difficulty walking far distances, is there transportation from the parking area to the ceremony/reception?

Answer

Yes! We have a shuttle that will run between the parking across Elliotsville rd. to the corral (please see site map on this page). If you need closer drop off, there are service roads to the “bunkhouse” which is VERY close to both the ceremony and reception at the grand oak pavilion. Please check in with the Bride or Groom for more details.

Is there an after party following the reception?

Answer

We have the whole retreat to ourselves until Sunday morning, so please feel free to hang on the property with us. Bar closes at 11 or midnight (TBD) so BYOB after that point.

Question

I hear there are fire pits, hot tubs, and a pool available for use.

Answer

Yes! There are a few fire pits, 4 hot tubs and a pool for use. The pool and nearby hot tub may be closed for the season by our wedding weekend, this is weather dependent.

Question

I am tent camping, where are the bathrooms and shower facilities for me to use?

Answer

We will have bathroom trailers (5) for use near the grand oak pavilion for the whole weekend. The corral (see site map) also has two bathrooms for use. For showering, we have 9 showers on the retreat for use. Please coordinate with fellow wedding guests, the bride and groom, as well as our immediate families for coordination.

Are my kids invited too?

Answer

While we absolutely love your kids, this will be an adults-only evening (you need a break!). We hope you understand, and we’re so excited to celebrate with you!
