Riverfront park is a beautiful walk along the Susquehanna River. The sunset views in the park take my breath away. Bikes are available for rent around the city, and this is a great place to use them!
This is the ceremony location! The complex is so stunning, though, it is worth a better look than we will be able to give it during the ceremony. Circle the building to check out beautiful gardens, courtyards, the fountain, and a grand view of State Street.
The Broad Street Market is the "oldest continuously operated market house" in American. IN AMERICA. Stop by for baked goods, local wares, a pizza, or a great cup of coffee. There is even a bar top featuring the beers of local craft brewery Zero Day Brewery!
The walking bridge will give you a gorgeous view of the river.
Home to the Harrisburg Senators baseball team, City Island is ringed by a scenic walking path which offers great city views. Depending on the weather, the mini golf and ice cream spots on the island may still be open for business for the year.
The Midtown Scholar is a maze/paradise of new and used books. They also have a selection of rare books and art prints. Stop in for a tasty latte and local treats, stay for the great selection!
Have the socks charmed right off of your body at Au Bon Lieu. A small café, this creperie is a great spot for lunch or a light dinner.
Millworks is absolutely one of our favorites. You'll find house crafted beer and a fantastic menu in the dining rooms below. Upstairs, you can wander through the studios of resident artists. Visit the gift shop below to purchase artwork!
This sweet Italian bakery sells cookies by the pound. BY THE POUND. In addition to delicious cookies, pasta, pizza, and baked goods are available. Seating is limited, so this is a better destination for smaller groups.
Imagine a sushi roll. Now make it burrito sized. That's what they do, and it's FAN-TASTIC. This spot has lots of comfortable seating, and is great for a quick lunch.
Guys. I'm going to level with you. This diner is a little rough. It is, however, beloved by the city and by Caitlin Marie Greenlee. It's a great place to people watch!
Pizza, but fancy! :) Cork and Fork features fantastic wood fired pizzas in delicious varieties. The restaurant offers great wines and craft cocktails. Don't miss the smores dessert pizza!
The kids say Zero Day is a hip spot to grab a craft beer!
Delicious fresh pasta. :) But seriously, go to there.
This hip coffee spot is one of our favorite stops while walking the pretty princess baby angel dog.
OKsoheresthething. This is where Nick and I had our first date. This Mexican restaurant is, admittedly, not much to look at. However, and hear me out, it is a Mexican restaurant BUT ALSO a Mexican grocery store. That means you can wander the aisles and shop for cowboy boots and a SpongeBob shaped piñata while you wait for your chilaquiles. Perfection.
These burgers are VERY yum. Don't skip the parmesan herb fries or milkshake! <3
Get your craft spirits on! We'll come peel you off the floor! (*not)
