The ceremony will take place in Merida in the Santa Luci Church at 11am. The reception will take place in Hacienda Santa Lucia at 5pm. Transportation to the hacienda will be provided. More to follow.

Question

Answer

After our ceremony guest will be directed to the garden for welcome cocktails.

Question

Will there be meal options for guest with dietary restrictions or allergies?

Answer

Yes, alternative options will be available. If you have any major allergies please reach out to our wedding planner directly. Email: info@marlowp.com

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

This month is known as a warm month. The average maximum daytime temperature in Mérida in February lies at 31.1°C (87.98°F). The average minimum temperature goes down to around 17.8°C (64.04°F).

Question

Is Mérida safe?

Answer

Yes, it is considered the safest city in Mexico and the second safest city in North America.

Question

What neighborhoods do you recommend avoiding? What area do you recommend staying in?

Answer

South Merida is known as the least safe part of the city — though there’s nothing a visitor would want to see or do there. The area considered “South Merida” is located south of the Merida International Airport. We suggest staying in North Merida , Centro Historico/Paseo Montejo Zona, Parque Santa Ana or Barrio de Santiago.

Question

Are you signed up with a wedding registry service?

Answer

No, we are very lucky to have everything we need for our home already. We do have a honeymoon fund if you would like to contribute to that!

Question

Should I bring my card with me, or send it in advance?

Answer

We will have an area set aside on the day where you can safely deposit your card. Alternatively, the best man and maid of honor will be accepting cards on the day on our behalf.

Question

Should we bring gifts on the day, or send them ahead of time?

Answer

As space at the venue is limited, there won't be a table for gifts on the day. We would prefer that any large gifts be sent in advance.

Question

Can’t attend the wedding but still want to send a gift?

Answer

We would love for all of our guests to join us but understand everyone has different circumstances. We have a honeymoon fund where you can directly contribute to our special day!

Question

Where will the bride & groom stay?

Answer

We are staying in an Air BnB located in the historic center by Parque Santa Lucia.

Question

Transportation

Answer

We will provide transportation from the Church to the Hacienda.

Question

Answer

Merida has Didi, Uber, Indrive, and plenty of taxi options.
