This is where the wedding ceremony and reception and will take place. If you’d like to stay at the wedding hotel, please use the link below to book within our room block at a reduced rate. Alternatively, you can call the hotel and ask to reserve under "Andrea and Nick's Wedding Block." We recommend booking quickly to ensure availability. We are monitoring the reservations but please let us know if you do not see any rooms available and we will add more to the block. The Hotel Monaco is accessible from any airport in the city via the Metro; it is just across the street from the Gallery Place/Chinatown Metro stop. It is located in the heart of downtown DC and is walking distance to anything you need, including monuments, museums, restaurants, shopping, and other attractions. We recommend taking public transportation or Uber/Lyft to the hotel. If you choose to drive, parking is available onsite for $35 (event only) or $65 overnight. There are also plenty of parking garages close to the hotel that offer cheaper parking. Fun fact: when the Capitol building burned down in 1814, the site of the Hotel Monaco served as the location for the 13th session of Congress.

Washington National Airport (DCA)

DCA is a great option for domestic flights arriving to DC. Just a 15 minute Uber/Lyft from the wedding hotel or you can hop directly onto the Metro straight from the airport (take the Yellow line 6 stops north to Gallery Place/Chinatown).

Dulles International Airport (IAD)

Dulles Airport is a major international airport located 45 minutes away from downtown DC. You can also take the Metro directly from the airport (take the Silver line east for 18 stops to Metro Center, then the hotel is two blocks away from the station).

BWI Airport

BWI airport is located in Baltimore and is a one hour drive from downtown DC. You can also take the MARC train directly from BWI to DC's Union Station (approx. 35 mins).

Union Station

Union Station is DC's main train station and a great option for guests traveling from NYC or arriving from BWI airport. From Union Station you take the Metro Red line 2 stops west to Gallery Place/Chinatown to get to the wedding hotel.

Hotels in Crystal City

For guests seeking more budget-friendly accommodation, we recommend checking out hotels in the Crystal City neighborhood of Arlington, VA. These hotels offer lower rates than DC hotels but are still easily accessible to downtown DC and the wedding hotel, just take the Metro Yellow line north 5 stops to Gallery Place/Chinatown or take a quick 15 minute Uber/Lyft ride. There are lots of great options to choose from, including the Crystal City Marriott, Hampton Inn and Suites Arlington Crystal City, Hilton Garden Inn Reagan National Airport, and the Crystal Gateway Marriott, among others.

Airbnbs and Vrbos

There are plenty of Airbnbs and Vrbos to book across DC. If choosing this route, we recommend booking in the Dupont Circle, Shaw, Logan Circle, or Adams Morgan neighborhoods of DC. These are all close to downtown DC and the wedding hotel.

Rental Cars

As you see from the above information, DC has great public transportation options! We recommend not booking a rental car since it’s not really necessary, and parking in the city can be tricky. If you do choose to drive, the Hotel Monaco offers $35 event parking and $65 overnight. Several other parking garages can be found close to the Hotel Monaco offering cheaper parking.
