LAX International Airport

LAX Airport will be the best bet for most of you and will get you closest to Marina Del Rey, but Burbank airport is also a great option and is roughly a 30-60 min drive ($40ish Uber) to Marina Del Rey, depending on traffic.

If you plan to rent a car while you're here in the beautiful city of angels rather than using a Ride Share company like Uber or Lyft (these have gotten a bit more elusive and a bit more expensive as a result of COVID-19, so plan accordingly), we highly recommend you use Turo and get a sweet ride to do some California Cruisin' ("Did someone say drop-top?"). There are some very sexy cars for $70-300+ a day depending on how baller you're feelin'. You're on vacation, live a little (if you can!)!

There are some really lovely hotels all around Marina Del Rey, Venice, and Santa Monica. If that's more your style and you have the budget for it, we particularly recommend The Marina Del Rey Hotel, Marriott Marina Del Rey, Ritz Carlton Marina Del Rey, Hotel Erwin Venice, Viceroy Santa Monica, Shore Hotel Santa Monica, and the Santa Monica Proper Hotel. If you want to know more about a specific hotel, just ask us! Many hotels are still offering flexible cancellation policies, just in case. AirBnB is also a great option. There are awesome places all over the area that can be cheaper than a hotel, especially if you coordinate with a group.
