Matron of Honor
My sister has been my best friend since the day she was born. Two peas in a pod ever since I can remember: sharing a room, borrowing each other's clothes, playing sports together, countless laughs, long phone calls about everything, and support when life is hard. We can have a whole conversation without saying a word, so our family never lets us be on the same team for game night.. apparently that gives us an unfair advantage. So thankful to have her as my Matron of Honor.
Best Man
You could describe our relationship as: right hand man, coworkers, roommates, drinking buddies, but the most accurate would be best friends. We gave each other that title during high school. Our friendship started around 7th grade for us and ever since, you could find us either working at the same place, living in the same house, or drinking together with the B-town boys. Shane and I have been through a lot together and no one seemed as suitable for best man as him.
Bridesmaid
Barb and I met as suite-mates in college, became friends almost instantly, and have shared so many memories since. We've worked together, lived together, and traveled together. These days, we spend our time together ordering the exact same thing at our favorite place, Cafe Zupas, and eating all the chips & salsa at every Mexican place we can find. Barb is loyal, dependable, and tough- one of my besties for life.
Groomsman
Other than being the best Fortnite player I know, Richie is also one of my little brothers and close friends. Richie and I have grown close through racquetball, playing cards at our dad's, and me cooking him A LOT of food when he comes over to my house. Richie is someone who always has my back and would do anything for me or Sarah.
Bridesmaid
We met during college through a mutual friend (thanks Barb!), and quickly became close over coffee, food, and talks about life. She's a good listener, can always make me laugh, and never judges me for showing up in sweatpants. Even though our work schedules rarely seem to line up lately, I am always thankful for the time we do get to spend together.
Groomsman
Mike is my oldest brother. You will recognize him in the wedding party for having the best body. I guess that comes with the job of being a personal trainer. It hasn't always been easy for us but God has always brought Mike and I back together, which I am thankful for. Mike and I have gotten closer in the last couple years through working out together and late nights talking about relationships, love, and life.
Bridesmaid
My brother, Samuel, brought this lady into the family, and I couldn't be more excited to gain another sister. Through board games, camping, going out for drinks, and just hanging out, I've gotten to know Nikki. Our weddings are about a month apart, so it's fun to share the planning process and compare notes. She's part of the family already, but I look forward to it being official and to many more years of time spent together.
Groomsman
Tony and I have known each other since our elementary school days in BAA football. Our friendship took off when we played next to each other on the offensive line in high school. Even though trying to hold off the D-line didn't always work out, at least our friendship did. Tony and I have enjoyed going to Twins games, watching UFC fights, and (when Sarah lets him sub in for her) being beer pong partners. You'll recognize Tony because he always has a smile on his face and will definitely be enjoying a beer or two.
