We originally met while both working at Nickelodeon Universe in the Mall of America. Nick started working there in November 2012, but Sarah first remembers meeting him on New Years Eve that year. We started out as casual coworkers, and gradually progressed to friends. When Nick got promoted to Team Lead, Sarah did a lot of his training, so between putting away stock, listening to music, creating training manuals, talking about the Twins, and making drinks in Caribou, we grew closer. Our first kiss was on May 18, 2015 at a party at a friend's apartment, and we've basically been together since.

We were in Duluth for a couple days to go to Sarah's Aunt & Uncle's anniversary party. We had plans to go golfing with Sarah's dad (Charlie) and were on our way to do that. Charlie called Sarah to tell her that something had come up and he needed to push the tee time back about 20 minutes. Sarah suggested that since we were already on the way, we should just go to Enger Tower (one of her favorite Duluth landmarks). Little did she know, Nick's plan all along was to get her to Enger Tower where 2 of her siblings were there waiting to take pictures, and Charlie was in on the plan too. We went out to one of the scenic overlooks of the city and once Hannah & Josh had quietly convinced some other tourists to give us some space, Nick got down on one knee and asked the easiest question Sarah has ever had to answer.

We are so so excited to promise forever to each other and start our future together. And we are so blessed to have such wonderful family and friends to share in the celebration with us. Your love and support means the world to us.
