Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

For the ceremony, the church parking lot has some space. After that is filled, feel free to park wherever you can on the surrounding streets. For the reception there are two parking lots east of the building (opposite side of the building compared to the direction of main street. so if you come off of main and go just past the building, turn into that alley and you will find the parking lot). Once filled, you may again park anywhere on the surrounding streets. 👍🏻

Do we have hotel rooms blocked?

Answer

We sure do! At the Hampton Inn and the Quality Inn and Suites. Book asap!!! They’re being held with a discount for us but only until 4 weeks prior to the wedding, which is comin right up!!! 😁😁😁 See the section in the menu labeled ‘travel’ for more details. Both have free wifi, free breakfast, pool, fitness room, and wheelchair accessible rooms if requested (can also ask for 1st floor if desired). If you call and the blocks are all full, please let Nikki know and she will get more rooms blocked. Here’s her cell phone number: (217) 825-6562.

What should I do between the ceremony and the reception??

Answer

We’re hoping to be able to welcome you into the reception at 4 pm so you can get in and get settled before we show up at 5. We’ll let you know for sure after the wedding. Until then you can….. Check into the hotel!! Go find the river (Keokuk is right on the Mississippi!!!) and see if you can spot a majestic bald eagle!!! Go to Rand Park and wander or play a little bit!! Go to Arrowhead Bowl on main street and get a game or two in!!
