How can I get around Trieste?

Answer

Welcome to old school Europe! There is no Uber but there are taxi stands around Trieste. Restaurants, museums, and cafes can also call you a cab. They will give you a cab number that identifies the cab so you know you're getting into the right one! You can pay in cash or card.

How do I get back from the wedding venue?

We will have transportation to and from the wedding venue. It is a 30 minute ride from Trieste. TO: Buses will leave Eataly in Trieste at 3:45pm. There will be no later bus. FROM: There will be 2 departure times - 12am and 2am.

Dolomites - 3 hour drive from Trieste Croatia - 1 hour in car or ferry ride from Trieste Slovenia- 30 minutes in car or ferry from Trieste

What do I need to know about the beach party?

Answer

It will take place at Sticco Mare, a 15 minute cab ride from the center of Trieste. It is a small beach club on the Adriatic. We will have a small area reserved with food & drink. You can take a dip in the Adriatic Sea (so bring your bathing suit!) or hang for some bites & a spritz (or two!) You do not need to bring a towel - we will be providing! No transportation will be provided. You can take a cab from Trieste. There will be someone at the Beach Club that can order cabs back for you whenever you want to leave.
