~2 hours. Hike to a view of the Boise downtown area. Relatively short, busy, and sun-exposed. Options to make it steeper, more gradual, or a loop. Several other fun hikes in the Ridges to Rivers trail system and beyond in the area.
2-3 hours. Start at Barber Park, end at Ann Morrison Park. A great way to cool off - you will get wet! Parking in Barber Park cost $7 and the Shuttle back to Barber cost $3. Buy tube or rent raft at Barber Park. Payette Brewery is near the end.

Our favorite natural hot springs is Kirkham Hot Springs - about 2 hrs from Boise - but there are several other hot springs around Boise National Forest. Kirkham: Parking for $5 (honor system), with a short walk to the pools. Make sure to wear good shoes- the rocks can get slippery!
2-2.5 hour drive away to Stanley, mini Grand Tetons. Hiking, lakes, camping, river.
