Flight
Meadows Field/Bakersfield Airport
Just under an hour's drive from Tehachapi, this airport is the closest we can get! However, there is expected construction on the freeway between Bakersfield and Tehachapi "in the summer," and we are unsure how this may affect travel. The airport is small, and flights are not always direct. Flights are typically listed through American Airlines. A rental car would be required to commute.

Burbank Airport
Approximately a two-hour drive from Tehachapi, this airport is larger (similar to Love Field for my Dallas friends) and has more flight options, and often cheaper options, than Bakersfield. A rental car would be required to commute.
