Transportation in and around Ghent
Ghent has a good public transportation system and is a very bike friendly city! There are buses, trams, taxis, and bike rentals. Ghent does not have Uber (sadly). Some Places to Stay in Ghent
When booking a place to stay, we suggest not staying within the red-zone as referred to on the map as there will be performance stages scattered throughout the city, which means there will be music and noise until late at night. Here below are a couple of suggestions we have within the city, but please feel free to find what suits you best. Airbnb, booking.com and Agoda can offer reduced prices, a great selection, and even houseboats! If you'd like to go a bit more outside the city center, Ghent and surroundings are designed well to get around on a bicycle.
