We met back in 2012 in freshman year government class. Although Nick and I were friendly throughout high school, it wasn't until we ended up at the same lunch table senior year that we became best friends and started dating. Seven years of dating, four years of a long distance relationship, and two dogs later, we're so glad we did.

Nick booked a surprise weekend trip for my birthday. We bought a few bottles from two Baltimore County wineries, and then drove to the Airbnb Nick booked for us. We pull up to an actual mansion and when we walked around back, I spotted our families on the porch and heard them yell "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!". I spun around to Nick down on one knee. I said yes between lots of happy tears, and we enjoyed a fun night with our families.
