Meet Our Party

Take a moment to get to know the people walking down the aisle with us. Our friendship together would be nothing without the people who helped shape who we are.

Nate Thompson

Best Man

Nate is my younger brother and my best man. For 22 years, we have been on the same teams and went to the same schools from pee-wee through college graduation. He's always cracking wise jokes and exceeding people's expectations of him. Some of my favorite memories are our fishing trips, getting late night TJ's barnyard busters, stealing concrete goose figures and putting them in our moms garden, and our rides home from football practice in high school listening to Lil Wayne and Eminem. Obviously there are many more memories that I could share, but we're keeping this short. He works for the State of Ohio and lives in Lancaster. Fun Facts: He lost all of his baby teeth before me. Nicknamed himself "the Beast" in junior high Will trash talk his grandma in a game of scrabble

Jessaca Graves

Maid of Honor

Jessaca is my sweet sister-sue. She is a student at Bowling Green and often volunteers to snuggle babies and play with kids on the pediatric floor of the hospital. Her laugh is sweet and contagious. She loves to sleep in late and travel the world with her friends. We are different, but alike in more ways than she thinks. She's tidy, organized, and assertive; just like me. Although she's all grown up, I'll always picture her as a 12 year old girl that I wanted to protect from everything. We used to spend summer nights catching fireflies in jars and crawdads in the creek. Now, we are wedding planning and sipping Moscato. Time flies sis! Fun facts: Has a Shorkie named Journey Dips green beans in ketchup Physically cannot stay awake in a car Once dropped the Eucharist in church

Cody Walker

Groomsman

Cody and I met my sophomore year at Marietta. We both played on the defensive side of the ball and we became roommates the following year. My favorite memories are of our late night shenanigans before our 5am spring football practices. We would have dodgeball fights in the dark and recite "Happy Tree Friends." We also made world famous chicken patties, Ramen noodles and yum yum sauce. Cody now works in the Petroleum industry and will also be tying the knot soon to his fiancé Lydia. Fun Facts: Favorite movie is "Zombeavers" Had a role in a Big Foot movie called "Kampout"

Jenna Dennis

Matron of Honor

Jenna has been such a phenomenal friend and role model to me. My sister enjoys the finer things in life. She loves the Kentucky Wildcats, Moscow mules, and laying on the beach. We had the absolute best childhood running through Spring Valley and playing with the neighbors until dark. We have the same laugh and nobody can tell us apart over the phone. Jenna is the best cook and she never has to measure the ingredients. She has the best taste in clothes, home decor, and restaurants. She is also an AMAZING mom to my niece, Leighton and wife to her husband Chadwick. Fun facts: Iced coffee addict Lives in Louisville, Kentucky and you better pronounce it right around her! Can recite every line from The Little Rascals

Levi Hagerdon

Groomsman

Levi and I met freshman year at Marietta football camp. We lived on the same floor and became friends later in the year. Levi is from Berryville, Virginia where the Wendy's commercial was filmed. Though he has Whoppers Hands, he is one of the strongest people I know. He once had a football coach tell him that his lifting form was improper and Levi responded, "Well, show me the proper form to lift THAT much weight." He is one of the most unique people I have ever met and will probably be in the top 3 for best hair at the wedding. Levi now works in the Petroleum industry in Midland, Texas and is currently seeking a life partner. Fun Facts: Has had Jayla in his Facebook profile pic since 2015 Calls his dad "Mr. Hagerdon" World champion of "free for all hallway" - if you know, you know

Trinity Schlabach

Bridesmaid

Trinity is the best, simple as that. Her friendship is one of my favorite things that came from Marietta. She is so adventurous and is everyone's go-to-girl when we need a little fun. We spent four years running around Marietta together and I wouldn't trade those memories for the world. Nowadays, we share the same love for dogs, wine, and being outdoors. She has the most beautiful green eyes and golden hair and I love her so much! Trinity was there for it all, literally. She would watch Nick and I argue at 3AM over nonsense, and then would walk to Gilman with us the next morning for tater tots. Fun facts: Has a Boston Terrier named Josie. Was a founding member of the Squirrel Girl club at Marietta (ask her about it). Lives in Wooster and last name is Schlabach but swears she's not Amish.

Garrett Davis

Groomsman

Garrett was a freshman my senior year at Marietta College. Our lockers were right next to each other and we quickly became friends. Our relationship grew the following year when I returned as a redshirt/super senior. I'd like to think I was a positive influence on Garrett, minus my excess use of Tiger Balm which he later began putting on his face. A favorite memory is when I wanted to test drive a repair on my car and we ended up getting lost in Wayne National Forest for over 4 hours. We also often enjoyed late night trips to Speedway for roller dogs after the bar. Fun Facts: School teacher and football coach in Marietta, OH Won Freshman Athlete of the Year at MC Technically still a "townie"

Nikita Holthouse

Bridesmaid

Nikita's friendship is so valuable to me. She was my first friend when I moved to Willard and she has been so caring and supportive. I will never forget the way we met. Nick and I were working out in the high school weight room when Nikita and Carter knocked on the door. They had a bookbag full of beer and wanted to know if we wanted to be friends. DUH! It was all so fast and scary at first but it was the best thing that has happened to me in Willard. She is handy, creative and giving. She has introduced me to so many amazing people. She loves to dance and she is the life of every party. I get to love on her kids and dogs constantly and I'm so lucky to be her friend. Fun Facts: She's Canadian! Eh! Played boys ice hockey. Speech therapist but still says "sorry" and "about" funny.

Axten Franzoy

Groomsman

My first memory of Axten was our freshman year standing in line for football orientation. He was dressed like an Abercrombie and Fitch model and my first impression of him couldn't be farther from the truth. Come to find out, he was a star quarterback from New Mexico that should've been at a way bigger school. However, some unfortunate injuries (look at his left elbow, wtf) put him at MC. The more I got to know him, I realized we had a lot in common. He enjoys hunting, fishing and is very competitive. Axten is a produce farmer in New Mexico and would love to tell you about his onions and chilies. My favorite memory is when I drove with him from Columbus, OH to Las Cruces, NM. Fun Facts: Will be a new Dad in June His mom taught me how to two-step in his kitchen Speaks fluent Spanish

Erin Wiers

Bridesmaid

When I first met Erin, I thought she was so cool. She was wearing colorful prints, tons of bracelets, and her hair was untamed and free. After being around her for two pregnancies, I think she is even cooler. She's an incredible mom and she has this amazing way of making you feel like the most important person in the room. When she asks how you are, she genuinely cares. I love when she calls me "dude" and when she leaves me sweet voicemails. She is a yoga and soccer queen and she has the body to prove it! She loves coffee, Jesus, and long walks. She always tells me, "You can never leave Willard!" and she makes me never want to! I am so grateful for our beautiful friendship. Fun Facts: Played soccer in college Enjoys looking for arrowheads with her hubby Makes top notch charcuterie boards

Jared Deep

Groomsman

Jared was a high school football recruit that I hosted overnight my freshman year. Apparently, the Ramen noodles and PB&J's I fed him was enough because he committed to Marietta the next year. From being the center of the party to excelling in his classes and on the football field; Jared is one of the most well rounded guy you'll meet. You'll know he had fun at the wedding if on Sunday all the blood vessels in his face are popped from puking. My favorite memories are when we would try to double up and tame the "Wild Washal" (our other roommate) in wrestling matches. Jared now works as a design engineer at Halliburton in Pennsylvania. Fun Facts: His power move is a head-butt He enjoys hiking and traveling across the country Has a Bassett hound named Butch

Elizabeth Thompson

Bridesmaid

Elizabeth is Nick's sweet little sister. Liz was in 5th grade when we started dating, and by the wedding she will be a freshman in COLLEGE. I’ve loved watching her grow into the beautiful, intelligent woman she is. Liz has always treated me so kindly and I'm so grateful for that. She loves animals, healthy food, fashion, books, and traveling. She has the most gorgeous head of red, curly hair and I love her smile and dimples on her cheeks. I look forward to getting to know her more and becoming her first sister! I can't wait to see her as an Aunt someday and I hope my daughters have the same spunk, sense of adventure, and thick hair as she does. I can't wait for the big day, future sis! Fun Facts: Future nurse Won 1st place showing rabbits at the fair

Leighton Dennis

Flower Girl

Leighton is the first baby of the family and is so special to all of us. She has the chunkiest hands, beautiful brown curly hair, and the sweetest giggle. The only thing that would make her better is if she lived closer. Saying goodbye to her is the hardest thing because you know you are going to miss something amazing that she does! The beauty in it all is that every time we see her she has a new skill and looks so different. Right now she loves Elmo's letter of the day, playing in water, swinging, being outside, and eating ribs. Now that she's here I can't imagine life without her! I am so proud to be her Aunt and Nick and I love her to death. I can't wait to see her walking down the aisle! Fun Facts: Loves dogs, hates wearing bows Tells everyone she's 2 Kentucky girl, born and raised!
